acer concept d intel i7 11th GH67G LA-L211P REV 1A 17-03-2021
the laptop dead by water on keyboard
i open the laptop i don't find any water on the motherboard or any damage
the laptop turn on without battery
i found shorted mosfet on smbus battery i remove it the laptop turn on with a battery but not charging
the big problem is the laptop is very slow
cpu works with low speed almost 0.7ghz
i do clean me bios but samething
what make laptop works with low profile and very slow the display takes long time.

Macbook A1932 had completely dead keyboard. I found my old Xbox 360 in storage and opened it up to see if there was anything that broke since it was built in 2006 (launch era Xenon revision, never red ringed, never been serviced) and didn't want to find out by releasing magic smoke. Upon moving the dust bunnies out of the way I was greeted by a bunch of capacitors with crud coming out of the top; it doesn't seem to have leaked onto the board so at least I have that going for me.
I'm posting here because I want to try to source replacement caps myself from Mouser or Digikey instead of braving eBay or waiting for places to have...06-07-2024, 05:10 PM -

I found two capacitors on the board and one of the leads on one capacitor had bad soldering joint and the other joint connections not much better and there were several soldering joints that way to much flux around the joint redid several of them
The capacitors were a non brand that I did not recognize they got replaced and now it does not oscillating between relay but what concerns me a little bit is when the voltage is a little bit low the output voltage is around 130 volts and then drops down to 115 volts this happens around 105 to 108 volts if remember correctly

This started a few days ago and does this about every 8 hours
After it does this it goes back to normal no bad battery icon and no weird sounds and it goes to battery backup mode so I am not sure what is going on with this battery backup
The battery backup is about 3 or 4 years old
Dose anyone have any idea on how to troubleshoot this issue I have never had a battery backup do this kind-a thing before so I am not sure exactly how to troubleshoot it and where to start06-02-2024, 02:30 AM -

Hearty greetings to everyone, trust you all are doing excellently well.
Please, I have the above problem, the laptop turned on after the switch was activated but it will turns off in less than 2 seconds.
The power stables in very rare case. Once it was stabled, everything works fine.
Once the power switched is pressed, 5V and 3V were present.
The things i have done:
1. I have check for shorts on the board, but nothing. The board is short free
