Issue turned out to be my Documents and settings folder was no longer shared on the XP machine. Had i been thinking I could have just
used system restore and that probably would have corrected my issue. Xp machine is my media server which is not connected to the
internet. Thank you Mr harp.

Windows XP Shared Folder Issue
This PC has four drives, until recently I could access folders from all drives on my home network. But now main drive C is not permitting
access to it's shared folders. The other drives are. Windows 10 computer is saying you don't have permissions. Any thoughts? Thanks -
Did not want to start a new thread as I'm not going to spend a lot of time on this set. Set came in with the blinking power light,changed 10uf 250v cap
no change,replaced led strips set powered up all good. After reassembly went back to 2 red blinks. Original lights checked good.

Vizio D50u-D1 Powers up no picture
I replaced the backlights all good. Two months later set was dead, had a shorted D9100, replaced all good again.
Now months later set powers up,backlights light ok,no picture. 12volts missing from fuse on tcon. 12VA on power
supply is 19 volts. Changed D9100 again, same, 12 volts measures 19. Am I looking at a power supply or mainboard
issue. Set will power up with remote but not power off.... -
Today reseated connectors on backlights and now all is well. Take a break when your tired. As these sets will drain your energy. To confident put it together without checking which I normally do. Thanks Eazybone and Diah.Leave a comment:

Vizio-D50u-D1 Pulsating Backlights
This Vizio came in the shop with no backlights. Replaced all the strips with replacement from Shop Jimmy. Set now has backlights but lights pulsate on left side. Half the screen brightens up then goes to normal then repeats.
Am I looking at a defective strip? Thanks in advance. -
