Today reseated connectors on backlights and now all is well. Take a break when your tired. As these sets will drain your energy. To confident put it together without checking which I normally do. Thanks Eazybone and Diah. -
Vizio-D50u-D1 Pulsating Backlights
This Vizio came in the shop with no backlights. Replaced all the strips with replacement from Shop Jimmy. Set now has backlights but lights pulsate on left side. Half the screen brightens up then goes to normal then repeats.
Am I looking at a defective strip? Thanks in advance. -

Traced problem to panel board on left, with board disconnected have 3/4 of panel lit with image. Have short across smd caps. How do I proceed?

Need expert help on this one, Power light cycles on and off at 6 second intervals, when trying to power up backlights flicker dimly.
Unplug mainboard from power supply and backlights work. Ribbon connectors to panel removed same result. Changed mainboard,
no difference. Is Panel the issue and if so how to troubleshoot. Thanks in advance...Leave a comment:

Funai LC3200SSx Shutting Down
This set won't power up with alternating green and red power light.
Forced chassis on all voltages are correct except all 6V. It measures 28v.
on cathode of D661. Anode measures 6v. Mainboard is BA94F0102 4_a.
Schematic I'm using LC320MEM9 which is not close enough. Any suggestions
from the Funai experts. Thanks!
