  • Surface Book 2 Performance Base dead

    I'm working on a Surface Book 2 performance base (M1032224-004 on white sticker) and would love for some help troubleshooting or where to look next.

    The tablet when not connected to the base seems to work fine, but:[LIST][*]When tablet is off and connected to the base, it won't turn on.[*]Connecting tablet that is already on to base there is a windows device detected tone (not sure what device), but tablet remains in tablet mode, keyboard/trackpad don't work, and windows continues to report only 1 battery.[*]Charger white light turns on when connected to the base, but base battery...

  • Macbook A1932 Some Keys Not Working

    Macbook A1932 had completely dead keyboard.   • MacBook Air A1932 Keyboard Schematic 820-01294-A

    Can anyone help with a schematic and board layout for the keyboard 820-01294-A in Macbook Air A1932 please? (for reference, mainboard is 820-01521-A)

    Alternatively, I'd settle for confirming value of a resistor on the keyboard (red arrow in picture below)

    Water damage keyboard, with corrosion visible on the noted resistor (picture was taken after cleaning). One pad under the resistor was corroded and resistor fell off while clearing the potting resin (or whatever it is Apple has coated the components in).
