I inject voltage on PCH coil, and only consume 7mA.... i dont see any short anywhere.... And for more information, with DDR4 ram slot inserted, the consume try to go to 1'4A and boot again. without ram, it stuck at 1A and dont boot or loop.......Leave a comment:

Thanks all for your help. I check DRAMRST#, it's 1'2V and pulled low when laptop reset at startup. SDA and SCL is 3,3V, i dont have oscilloscope... ODT pins never go 1,2V, only 0'9 aprox when ram is inserted... i try different ram sticks with same results....Leave a comment:

The initial diagnose was EC/KBC shorted... The resistance to groud of pin5 of PU201 is 15K ohms. Thanks for your help.Leave a comment:

Lenovo yoga 3 14 - nm a381 -3V problem
Hi guys! Thanks in advance to your help. I have a Lenovo yoga 3 14 (mainboard NM-A381). The actual issue, aftter change the shorted KBC, is the impossible to have the 3V. The BQ seems OK (i have 20V, regn, but not the AC_OK (1V only), it was replaced likewise. I replace 3 o 4 times the PU201 (it's very very hot afte connecting the charger) but i dont be able to work properly. All the replacements of these chip are get very hot.. Is possible the replacements of Aliexpress are spoiled, i order new ones from other seller.... But what could be the fault? What measurings can do?

They are diferent bios. One (the 16mb) is the main bios, and the another, is the "bios" of the EC / KBC.Leave a comment:

Hi [USER="499848"]Woody78[/USER] The winbond is the BIOS chip and the other is the EC BIOS chip. The first is about 16Mb bios, and the EC is only 256KB.I'm looking for these bios. Hi all!! Thanks in advance for you support. I'm repairing these laptop, first it didn't boot but at least the RGB keyboard light up and some leds also. I make a bakup of the EC and the BIOS, to try another bios, but now it dont do anyhing, any led, with backup bios & ec neither... ;-( Is for that reason, i searrch an EC and BIOs good fles to reprogram it by the Ch341a programmer.

I replace, again, the BQ IC charger. For 4th time... And it seem it charge, the voltage of PIN 15 is present. Windows don't animate the battery icon, but increase the percentage of it. Don't estimate the full charge time, but it seems is charging.....Leave a comment:
