MOSFET identification
Please, help me identify what channel is this FET.
It was found in a Zealot S-78 bluetooth speaker. I will appreciate the datasheet as I could not lay my hand on any
Attached is the image of the FET....

Thank you.
I saw something related too. All pointed to a zener diodes. Different diodes with different electricl characteristics....

Thanks a lot.
S-manuals.com seem to lead me astray.
TVS make more sense than what S-manuals is giving me, especially considering how it was arranged in the circuit.
How wish there's a reliable website where one can identify these parts easily...Last edited by Zilicon; 07-25-2024, 10:56 AM.

Thanks
Please can I have the datasheet?
And please, how do I source for datasheet of stuff like this?
S-manual.com was not really helpful...

Y4 diode identification
Please help me identify this zener diode.
I find it hard to see the datasheet. The diode was found on 14TB 3.5" WD HDD
I'm looking into having it replaced.
Pictures attached...

AHL50/ ABL52 LA-C701P Rev:1.0 Turns on but turned off after few seconds
Hearty greetings to everyone, trust you all are doing excellently well.
Please, I have the above problem, the laptop turned on after the switch was activated but it will turns off in less than 2 seconds.
The power stables in very rare case. Once it was stabled, everything works fine.
Once the power switched is pressed, 5V and 3V were present.
The things i have done:
1. I have check for shorts on the board, but nothing. The board is short free
2. Not a power switch problem, it behaves the same without the switch ...

BIOS request for Evoo gaming laptop EG-LP10-BK
Please, I need working BIOS firmware for the above PC. The board number is GK5MP5X MB V1.0
Background information: The PC at first, started with the screen going blank when HD video is played or whenever a game is launched. the laptop will not turn off, it will be working in the background but with no display. However, it worked very fine with 720p screen, but no display with 1080p screen. 1080p screen came with the PC origininally.
I checked the continuity of the display cable, all were ok.
meter readings when 1080p screen was installed:

Evoo gaming laptop EG-LP10-BK not displaying with 1080p screen but it displays with
Please help:
The above laptop with the board number: "GK5MP5X MB V1.0" started with the screen becoming blank when a game was launched, or a higher definition video was being played. It became worse by not displaying at all during boot up, but there are signs that the PC was working every other thing worked except the display.
The PC works normally with HD screen (720p) but no display with a full HD screen (1080p)
I couldn't find any boardview or the schematics for the motherboard.
Please, how do I solve this problem

I meant the power switch is on board- not detachable.
I will say THANK YOU 😊 VERY MUCH. The mention of LID switch gave me a hint. So I dug deeper into what LID switch is. Initially I thought it qas just another name for the power switch, but I got to know it's function after I dug deeper.
In summary, the LID switch was at fault (U9013) can be found around "mute" button (top left) aread of the MOBO.
so i bridged the in and out pin, and VOILA! IT WORKED!.
thank you once again....

That coil is part of the charging circuit. so it is normal for it to be very hot as the battery is charging. You should see a voltage difference when you take measurements on both sides of the coil.
it will stop heating up when the battery is unplugged.
only one fan is spinning. the two should spin simultaneously. so there is a wrong communication.
You need to look for exact working MOBO, remove the chip, and try it on yours; if not possible, fetch the name of the BIOS chip and flash CONFIRMED firmware. flash off-board....

Don't go beyond the BIOS. Search the BIOS request forum if it has been requested before, comb through the thread to be sure someone has confirmed the BIOS firmware to be good. then write it on the chip.
You should be good with that.
But if no one has make a request before, make a request in a new thread under the BIOS request forum...Last edited by Zilicon; 01-19-2024, 11:51 AM.

Magnusa2Magnusa2 it will be good to start another thread stating the problem. Avoid using upper case...
