as subject line says, I have a laptop that reboots after 30 minutes. Investigation leads me to believe that is due to intel ME as it happens everytime after 30 minute from boot, it just turns off, no overheating, nothing weird.

Good Afternoon,
This is my first post here so I apologize if I miss something.
I'm working on an A1708 that draws 20v and 0a with the board removed.
When installed in the machine, it takes 20v and 0.1a. The fan spins up and the trackpad clicks.
Some measurements:
PPBUS_G3H: 13.13v
PP3V3_S5: 3.3v
PP5V_S4: 5.1v
PP3V3_S0: 0.6v
Any help would be appreciated. Let me know if more measurements would help.

Hi
I have a 453 Mini , two of the four Sata ports are not getting 12V . I am wondering if anyone has knowledge on hardware repair on these devices . I have attached an image of the board , it appears the Sata ports are powered in pairs , the right pair are working , left pair no voltage ( 0.2V)
I have tried tracing the 12V rail , though have not been successful . I am guessing there is a Transistor or Mosfet that is open
Any help , perhaps a schematic?

Hi, I will appreciate if I can get some advice on my problem.
- I have an Acer Aspire A315-41-R8J9, with Ryzen 5 APU (no GPU).
- The laptop can be started (blue led on) but it shows no picture (blank screen), and it looks to be somewhat active, as the fan spins, and processor gets hot.
- I visually inspected and tested some components, with no obvious issues.
- I disconnected not-essential peripherals.
- When testing PL401, I got sparks, smoke smell, and the Acer logo briefly showed in screen but then shut down.

Hi
I try to repair a asus Asus X571GT (DA0XKTMB8C0) no power no lights.
I saw a burned (small hole in it) chip (JW10F) proberly a TPS22976DPUR, I removed it, now with power connected the laptop turns on and direct off again, power led and fn will light up.
I found on a donor lenovo board a G2898KD1U (wa9y), looks the same ..
Result is still the same, turns on and direct off again, first attempt is with backlight on all other direct attempts are only the power and fn led.
Could it be the chip is to diffrent to make the laptop work again ?

Hope you're all having a great day, and thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to read this post to help me with my parents' Samsung TV.
My issue: No backlight.
Model: QE82Q70RAT
Type No: QE82Q70RAT
The TV was already serviced by Samsung once under warranty for the exact same issue, but six months after the fix, the backlight went out again. Now, Samsung is asking for nearly the same price as a brand new TV to fix this with the same 6-month guarantee.
So hopefully, I can fix this cheaper.

I sent my [B]ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED (H7600, 12th Gen Intel) [/B]to the local repair guys to have a very simple DC in port replaced. I sourced the part myself on accessoires-asus (french company) after struggling to find the right part in the UK. It looked completely the same to the installed part from what I can tell. Originally the only issue with the laptop was a bad / loose DC connection, and so the computer and battery acted completely normal aside from a very poor connection that would fail at certain angles. Greetings to all, a while ago my TV was dead, it didn't turn on and the standby light was off, the next day it is working. But these days it no longer wants to turn on, I did some troubleshooting, I disconnected the main board, I checked the voltage on the backlight and there is 400 DC, when I connect it again the main board the voltage drops, in all that troubleshooting, miraculously the standby light comes on and the TV works. Hi,
I swapped the keyboard from UK to DE and in my A2337 MacBook Air M1. It works without any problem.
But I realized, if I reinstall MacOS and when it comes to the First Time Wizard, it still detects an UK keyboard automatically. Then I need to switch it manually to German and then it works.
Does anyone knows, where is this information stored? Can I change it?

Hello everyone. I have just aquire an old motherboard from a friend (Shuttle AS45GT). I 've tried to boot the modo with no result as aupply lights are flashing when there is power supply but i get no picture and beep sound. CPU is heating very slowly without a heatsink and i realise that reset switch is not working. When i used a PCi diagnostic card i get different messages every time like 08 or 0C or 0d and i noticed that RESET light remains steady on the card. When i measure reset pin with polimeter i got 0V on it. I also have 12v light NOT flashing on diagnostic card. Can anyone help me result...Today, 01:10 PM
