I think that 2701 stock BIOS needs Version 14.1.53.1649V1.1
“Before BIOS update, please download Intel ME update tool from ASUS support site, and update ME firmware to Version 14.1.53.1649V1.1 to ensure optimized system settings.”
Are you sure ME version 14.1.51.1528 is ok for 2701 main BIOS???
And why are there so many errors at this file (extracted from BIOS 2601)???

I have already flash with programmer main BIOS (16mb) version 2701 after I have remove header. The problem is that I dont know if the Me BIOS firmware from it is the correct one with the secondary BIOS chip (8MB) which has this file on it. Furthermore I dont know why some people clean main BIOS file (dump) and then flash it again...Leave a comment:

I am using 8gb flash-drive with normal partitioning and FAT32 formatted.
The file has been downloaded from https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/ro...helpdesk_bios/
and has been renamed using BIOSRenamer. Some people say ME firmware of the current chip (8MB) may be corrupted and as a result motherboard reject flashing original BIOS. I have never face such a problem in the past....Leave a comment:

Asus strix z490-g gaming wifi bricked after bios update
I have a motherboard Asus strix Z490- g Gaming wifi and a 10th gen CPU. I have update BIOS to 2701 version but then I realized that I needed to update the ME firmware first. I didn't read the ASUS notice that said, "Before BIOS update, please download Intel ME update tool from ASUS support site. I updated the BIOS without doing this, and everything seemed fine until the system performed an Intel ME update and shut down permanently. Now the motherboard have "No power issue" and it seems dead!!! My attempts to reflash it were unsuccessful. Searching online, I found several people... -

Excellent presentation for the problem. I have Similar issue with an Asus prime 370-p. First of all I havet clear out from where rsmrst signal (1,2V is the correct voltage or 3.3V???) comes for. For 370 I have a mosfet near pch that produce from 5VSB that signal but never reaches I/o chip. Certainly you have to install a cpu because I think these motherboards doesht power on if cpu is missing (like AM4). Plz to power on with cpu and send here the results......Leave a comment:

PCH Heatsink accessories
Hello everyone!
I have found some 1151 motherboards that seems to work (from scrap) but there are some accessories that missing. For PCH chips I have heatsinks but there are't any metallic plugs, screws with spring and silicon washers. The problem starts first with the metallic plugs that make contact with the motherboard. Does anyone know specific characteristics of these accessories so I can order them? -

Asus Prime B250M-A troubleshooting
Hello everyone!
I have just receive an Asus Prime B250M-A with no power problem and I need your help! These are the symptoms:
1) 5VSB from ATX is unstable (changing all the time up and down from 2-3V). Same symptoms with another PSU.
2) Orange led line (near sound chip) on stand by mode keep flashing all the time!!
3) 5V circuit has 30ohm resistance
4) PCH chip warns a lot at stand by mode.

Shuttle AS45GT Motherboard problem
Hello everyone. I have just aquire an old motherboard from a friend (Shuttle AS45GT). I 've tried to boot the modo with no result as aupply lights are flashing when there is power supply but i get no picture and beep sound. CPU is heating very slowly without a heatsink and i realise that reset switch is not working. When i used a PCi diagnostic card i get different messages every time like 08 or 0C or 0d and i noticed that RESET light remains steady on the card. When i measure reset pin with polimeter i got 0V on it. I also have 12v light NOT flashing on diagnostic card. Can anyone help me result...
