small update.
Boots windows
cpu fan always 100% does not detect rpm in bios
nvidia adapter not present (reflashed nvidia bios,no diffrent)
right usb and card reader does not reconise anything
did get hot but after repaste ok

Asus X571GT repair chip replace and tips wanted
Hi
I try to repair a asus Asus X571GT (DA0XKTMB8C0) no power no lights.
I saw a burned (small hole in it) chip (JW10F) proberly a TPS22976DPUR, I removed it, now with power connected the laptop turns on and direct off again, power led and fn will light up.
I found on a donor lenovo board a G2898KD1U (wa9y), looks the same ..
Result is still the same, turns on and direct off again, first attempt is with backlight on all other direct attempts are only the power and fn led.
Could it be the chip is to diffrent to make the laptop work again ?

Thanks for the effort here, I succesfully got mine working again with the files here!
to share my expierence to get it all done.
I did get invalid serial number and the lenovo tool was unable to detect my laptop, you simply get set youre serial again from the bottom cover.
google "Lenovo Uone Tool - To change Serial Number or Model Information of a laptop" You will get a github page, do the updated instructions and boot from the usb, the rest is clearly explained. I did sn mtm and uid auto.

thank you, I tried this bios it now does turn on but fans are on full power and no image, with org bios, what failed by updating it does not turn on at all.
is there a way to combine bios to get it booting again ?

Lenovo t560 lan fix after loaded bios
Hello
I have 3 t560 where I reloaded the bios ( Orig+$0AN1K00.rar , from here ) to recover from non booting or slow booting, al was fine and update-able but seems that with all of them has a intel lan adpater what is not able to start, new drivers or reinstall does not help.
tried to reflash the gbe file with original mac but that does not make the different.
Has anybody a tip what to do to get onboard lan working again ?

HP Pavilion x360 - 14-dd0505nd gpu freeze bios ?
Hello,
I have "repaired" this laptop by replacing the intel me with the newest stock bios from hp. originally the laptop was comming on but no image, after the bios mod and long without battery the laptop powered on with image and loads windows.
While installing the drivers the system keeps freezing (no bsod) while installing the intel 610 cpu driver, screen go black and stuck, turn off and on in save mode it works, disable the gpu driver wil result in "working" system.
Could this be related to the bios ? I do not have history of this laptop.... -

based on the comments assume you can't clone a working bios over a corrupt one ? (with programmer )

I have a asrock mb ami with stored password, both tools are unable to find password.
If I look into uefi tool I can find (multiple)

The one with data in it starts at 0020 and 01 is at 0030
I understand it should start at 0040
And my length is just over 1 line in uefitool

I have a Lenovo 330 (Yoga 330-11IGM Laptop (ideapad),Yoga 330-11IGM, Flex 6-11IGM) wich powers on but no image and only consumes 1 watt at the 230v adapter. It does charge the battery with or without ac no diffrent.
YOGA330+MB_V06
I measured the coils:
U6002 > 3,3v 2,4k ohm
U6001 > 5,2v 300k (and less) ohm
U5901 > 12,9v 114 ohm
U6102 > 0v 19 ohm
U6104 > 1v 77 ohm
U6103 > 1v 27 ohm
U6105 > 1,2V 222 ohm
at U6102 is a mosfet apw8707 located, I attach image....
