    MS-15821, MSI GF66 Katana 11UC Need resistance value

    Hi everyone, I've been looking everywhere for values ( or exact model ) of this L0603 coil
    id=L9
    Help a tech out !

    Thanks in advance for your time and understanding.

    The missing part is acting like an EMI filter. It is not a power inductor so not super critical. If in a pinch, you can just solder blob the 2 pads of this component to bridge the missing part.

    If available to you, source an 0603 sized EMI filter - higher the resistance, the better the grade of the filter. We like to use 600 ohm @ 3A in 0603 size for our PCB designs. Ours are from MaxEcho (Taiwan) but you can source these from donor boards, Digikey, Mouser, etc. It is possible that Mobile Sentrix carries them as well. Shout back if you need specifics.

    Update - MaxEcho is available through Digikey !! They are a solid supplier to us. Have been using their parts for 15+ years to date and met them numerous times in HK at trade fairs.

        Hi dear Mon2, I've replaced the broken part but the laptop doesn't seem to boot. Few motherboard lights upon pressing pwr button make me think the motherboard is still good, yet I can't seem to reach BIOS, fans don't start and I can't seem to find any other trouble. Any Ideas by chance ?
