I bought a T12-958 recently with an M8 handle and until now it has worked very well. The tip wasn't earthed but that was easily resolved.
Now, whenever it is switched on, it heats up to about 70*C then shows an [INVER] error on the screen and stops. In order to fix it I have to either unplug and re-plug the handle, or unplug and re-insert the tip from the handle. While doing that it changes to [ERROR], then it finishes heating up and works perfectly. Until it's turned off, after which it will show [INVER] again next time it is turned on.
Any idea what the problem is?05-06-2024, 01:36 PM -
by CraigRI have a 12v psu from a DJ lighting system and I can not seem to figure this one out. The board so far had a blown fuse and a shorted voltage regulator. After replacing those I get 12v out but hooking a load to it the voltage seems to bounce between 5v and 0v. I remove all the caps and checked those and replaced 2 that were only questionable. I know it's not the device I connect it to as I put 12v to it with my bench power source and it works fine....Yesterday, 02:25 PM

by mon2Hello. Coming to you from the laptop forum. Have a client with the Fortinet 50E that has 320 Mbps as internet input speed but only 20 Mbps output on each and every downstream port (using FAST.COM to benchmark).
Reseller is stating the Fortinet is 'worn out' which does not sound logical at all unless the flash memory is 'worn out'. They, of course, want to sell another + onsite installation fees.
Can anyone share feedback on this unit? What can cause this sluggish behavior. From our knowledge, this device is snooping on the traffic to halt viruses / hack attacks, etc....-

by PatanNeed help here...
I'm new on the forum and I'm not professional in electronics so i ask sorry in advance for eventual errors...
As title says, i have a LA-H323P dead.
Now, little background.
The computer was working fine, just seems that the cable of screen was dying because it had the classic color problem, sometimes green, sometimes violet, sometimes perfect, but anyway working.
When i opened it the battery was so fat that was seriously near to explode.
So i removed the battery... and turned on the notebook... that was, again, working perfectly fine....11 Photos04-28-2024, 03:31 AM -

by PITERPENYthere is no reaction, it hangs at 20 V/0A. There was a little corrosion in the u7650 area. Replacing the u7000 did not help. Tell me, what else could it be? PPBUS_G3H=12.9V
Flashing the bios with a clean region also did not work!05-06-2024, 04:31 PM -

by GraphicManHello guys
Because the unit is old (but only occasionally used) the loudness button causes some noise due to bad contact,
sprays did not work, so i decided to solder the pins that it connects on the pcb at the on (loudness on) position
i did that and it worked fine, i know from the bottom of my heart that the switch connects 2 pins and also d/c other 2 pins
on every position it have (6 pin switch), so i was curious what would happen if i clicked the switch off while the pins are soldered at on (so basiclly on and off at the same time), when i did so the sound is gone, nothing...-
