by France_53Hello everyone from Italy, I'm here to ask for help on a Vestel TV, I've had a Vestel TV branded "XD" with a broken screen for years, but now I've found a Telefunken (still Vestel but older) and I've mounted the panel on the "XD" TV, it works, but the screen is upside down, given that Vestel does not allow you to rotate the image from the service menu, does anyone know how to solve the problem? the original panel is marked ves315WNDS-2D-N12 while the main board 17mb110, the panel I mounted instead in the tv (from the telefunken) is a ves315WNDA-02. ... It is not worth repairing...05-12-2024, 05:22 AM

by debidoobsHello,
im actually trying to save a d1500 delay from yamaha. I found the service manual but schematic is missing and BOM list is a bit unclear as components listed have no reference linked to the pcbs... In my case, one zener diode was broken (114 code on the pcb in attached file) and couldn't be repaired : it was a zener type package. In the BOM list i found 3 reference on this board : 1S555 (can be replaced by 1N4148), RD4.7EB2 (approx 5v rectifier), RD7.5EB3 (approx 7v rectifier)...
Actually the cathode goes to VCC of sram M5M5118P, without this diode missing, i have...-

by RunlincHi everyone, the tv was in a continuous reboot cycle. To get the best screen image i can I taped the VGH and VSS pins on the left side buffer board joining ribbon.
I am left with a good image apart from the black horizontal lines that I cannot get rid of.
I cannot find anything on the buffer boards that has shorted.
Do you think there is anything i can do to eliminate the lines, or are they caused by an internal panel short and the image cannot be impoved.
Many thanks for your assistance5 PhotosYesterday, 07:40 AM -
by ritaloHello,
I have a MacBook Air 13 inches 2014.
I have set a EFI password and I can't remember it : now I want to reinstall macOS and I can't because the MacBook is asking for the password.
I know how to remove the password with a usb programmer.
I plug the usb programmer to the motherboard and to my pc with usb, I read the EFI and I save it to a file.
Then I have to find this value in the file : $SVS because it indicate where is the password.
But I can't find the value.
I have attached the file

Hi,
I have a problem with windows activation. The laptop has the original version of windows 8 included by the manufacturer. The laptop worked on the original activated key for several years. Recently I wanted to try to see if I could still upgrade to windows 10 (it was a mistake). Of course, the time to upgrade to windows 10 has long since ended and my key was rejected. I came to terms with this and wanted to reinstall windows 8, I downloaded the system from the windows website, after starting the procedure it showed a window to enter the key, I entered and to my surprise now also...-

by warsztatLenovo IdeaPad 3 14ADA05 bsod "page fault in nonpaged area" ,sometimes the device works fine all day but the next day it displays this message from time to time.
Replacing the RAM and SSD drive and new Windows installation did not change anything, the error still appears.
I noticed that the laptop turns on by itself after lifting the screen, but I did not find such a function in the BIOS.
Can this be set in windows?
I wonder if it makes sense to program the BIOS.
Has anyone had this happen before and how did you deal with it?05-13-2024, 11:34 AM -

by NagyeszHey guys, I have a Lenovo Ideapad 320-15ikb NM-B241 rev:1.0.
After turning it on, it runs for a few seconds then shuts off completely. No screen, no fan. After shutdown, a red light comes on and off fast. I've been trying to troubleshoot this for days now. It's never been opened up; the Lenovo sticker is still intact.
(!)I tried with a different BIOS battery, without any ribbon cables, on battery power, without the keyboard, and it's always the same.
Any insights on what might be causing this?...05-13-2024, 03:05 AM -

by E--ManHi All,
Thanks for reading. Based on the interesting fact that the vertical lines issue don't seem to effect the menus whatsoever but rather everything around the menu regardless of video is shown, I'm trying to set mine whether the issue is the main board or the t-con board.
Again what's baffling is that the menu is not effected whatsoever. However, any other video displayed regardless of inputs or when no inputs exist exhibits the vertical lines and seem to effect black areas only.
The lines are green in color when the tv is in "Game Mode" and...5 Photos05-12-2024, 10:52 AM -
by tec3000Hi community! Germany calling I am wondering if you guys can help me out. I have an issue with my Sony LED TV. I've been told this is a good place to ask. Thanks for anyone who will reply and offer advice. Appreciated!
I have a KD-65X9005A Sony 4k LED TV. For a few weeks I've got this problem where I turn on the TV and within a few seconds the TV starts getting darker until it shuts itself off and I get the 4 blinking error code. HOWEVER there is one exception: Whenever I switch to the i-Manual, a full screen on-screen instruction manual, the TV never turns off. I tested for hours!...03-20-2024, 07:29 AM -

by Raulnngood night! I have this TV, with quite poor build quality. It has a tcon integrated into the panel, a single flex from the tcon to the panel, and the 2 panel controller boards joined by glued flexes. There is no way to separate them.
The symptom is that the image is not visible, but the backlight works. How to know if the problem is in the main or in the tcon-panel? I can't override zones.Yesterday, 02:11 PM -

by fharris1977I have a MacBook Pro Touchbar A1706 that won't turn on. With the board removed I'm getting 19.62V and an average amp draw of 0.300A. When I first plug in my ampmeter it goes from 5V to 19.62V after a second or 2 and the amp draw starts at about 0.688A and up to about 0.790A and then it gradually goes down to about 0.155A and works it way up to around 0.330A and then it fluctuates in the range of about 0.200A-0.350A. The voltage stays at 19.62V. Can someone with any experience with this issue help me out. I checked all the main power rails and they were present.
