yes, sorry for my mistake, even in the file name the date is from almost two weeks ago, I didn't notice it, I'm struggling with hypoxia which probably increases the damage because I'm making more and more mistakes, the correct file is from today
as I wrote, the topic is no longer relevant, but maybe the file will be useful someday...Leave a comment:

Bios work ok. Now problem with USB3 AND ram slot not work. Is hardwae problem, I think the PCB was flooded on the side with the usb3 sockets etc. The keyboard clicks strangely from that side.
Thank you volinakis....Leave a comment:

Hi, Acer Aspire A515-51G-77L9 C5V01 LA-892P Rev:1C
I need a working bios after repairing the motherboard, I replaced the shorted capacitor CS8 on the +5VALW_CC_VOUT line, everything seems to be fine now, but after starting the current stabilizes at ~0.25 A and there is no voltage on the processor. A bit strange. Please provide a good bios, I am adding a screenshot from my board....Leave a comment:

Trademi Horizon, freeze after start.
Hi, trademil Horizon freeze after start like video, i try reset (3sek push stop), remove and I put new ones capaticors 3,3V line digital and analog line.
The device in service mode passes all tests, except for the display test, where it hangs. The display in service mode during engine testing, etc. seems to behave correctly, it shows values, the engine is working, I can adjust its speed but only in service mode, in normal operation after pressing start the machine freezes
All the multiplexers that support the display seem to be working. It's like the processor...Last edited by warsztat; 03-06-2025, 07:40 AM. -

I bought ALC233, soldered it and I can confirm that it is this chip, the sound is back.
Thanks to colleague SMFlea for the accurate identification of the integrated circuit.

Acer AN515-57-577G JDIMM1 socket not working.
Hello, Acer AN515-57-577G JDIMM1 socket does not work. GH51G LA-L181P, 2x DDR4 RAM, both good, both work well in JDIMM2, neither works in JDIMM1. The laptop displays BIOS, when the JDIMM2 socket is occupied, you can run Linux on USB, then everything seems to work ok, there is internet access and you can browse the contents of the 512 GB SSD in Windows, but starting Windows ends with an eternal spinning circle, maybe there are corrupted files. When the RAM is inserted into the JDIMM1 socket, the laptop starts but there is no image and the downloaded current does not change and the output is ~2.25A....
