L7430, L7420, L7410 are 3.9ohm. L7210 and L7220 are 7.3ohm. R7220 is 11.3ohm. I don't know if these resistances are supposed to be that low. The other inductors are over 100 ohms or much greater. -
No but I did the alcohol test and it evaporated pretty quick off of Q7030. The board was still in the housing though. Its not getting hot outside the board. I feel a little warmth but nothing is burning hot while plugged up outside the housing. I'll check my seek compact pro thermal camera when I find it. A1706 Won't Turn on 20V/0.3A draw
I have a MacBook Pro Touchbar A1706 that won't turn on. With the board removed I'm getting 19.62V and an average amp draw of 0.300A. When I first plug in my ampmeter it goes from 5V to 19.62V after a second or 2 and the amp draw starts at about 0.688A and up to about 0.790A and then it gradually goes down to about 0.155A and works it way up to around 0.330A and then it fluctuates in the range of about 0.200A-0.350A. The voltage stays at 19.62V. Can someone with any experience with this issue help me out. I checked all the main power rails and they were present. Anyone know it would be greatly... -

Vizio D50u-D1 Dead: PSU or Main Board?
Hi. Anyone who has experience with these vizio sets, which pin on this connector is the standby, the 5V pin? Trying to rule out the PSU before ordering a mainboard. I'm getting 0 Volts on all pins on this connector. Trying to jump the standby and PS ON pins to see if the PSU is functioning. Thanks in advance. -
Vizio D50u-D1 Dead Set No Standby
Hi. I got a Vizio with no power or standby, and won't turn on with remote or button. I checked the voltages on the connector and all read 0.00V or nearly 0(0.050 ON/OFF pin). None of the pins are labeled STB for standby although I do see some 5V pins. Other than the obvious standby led, which isn't coming on, is there a way to check for standby voltage on this PS. I'm trying to see if my problem is the PS or mainboard. Some Vizios I have fixed with no standby led me to think it was the PS but it turned out being the mainboard. Any experience with this set would be greatly appreciated. -
Sanyo DP65E34 Backlights off after a 1-2 sec
Hello. I have a Sanyo TV that had no backlights at first. I changed CS9 off the power supply and now the backlights will come on for a second or 2 and go right back off. I can see the image if I shine a flashlight in the screen. Anyone familiar with this particular model and problem, your help would be greatly appreciated. Vizio D50u-D1 No Power Dead
Hello. I have a vizio set that was damaged when lightning struck during a thunderstorm. The fuse in the power supply still tests ok. Is it the power supply or mainboard, because I had the same problem with another vizio thinking it was the power supply but it turned out being the mainboard. The only pins I'm getting any voltage on is ON/OFF .050 and 3D_ON .038. Those are mainly pictures of the mainboard, looks like some type of corrosion or something on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... -

Hi. I've tried pressing around the top and bottom of the screen but that red line won't budge. I was hoping it was a main board problem because I've never seen a defective panel with a red vertical lines. And I seen where someone had a Sharp set with a thin red line and the T-Con board was the problem with that set.Leave a comment:

Hello. I have a Sony Bravia set which is supposed to be a high quality set. There is a thin red line that runs down the center of the screen. I've have changed the T-Con board and the red line remains on the screen. Asking the experts, do y'all think I have a defected panel? Hopefully not, because I'd hate that such an expensive TV set can't be repaired because of a defective panel. Anyone with experience or knowledge of this issue with this TV set or any similar, I'd greatly appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.... -

Hi thanks. The fuse that keeps blowing is the t6.3ah 250v not the t3. Just was clarifying that in case that's why you want me to test those mosfets and ic. And yeah you're right that filter cap is bulged. For some reason I couldn't see that until I looked at the picture. Do I still need to test those mosfets and ic?Leave a comment:

Samsung LN46C530F1FXZA Dead Set No Standby
Hello. I have a Samsung set that a customer says went out during a power outage or surge. From a visual inspection I see a burn mark on one of the transformers (pics included). Also, when I replace the pictured fuse (the one by the power plug connector) it blows immediately when I plug in the set. Could the transformer be the issue why the fuse immediately blows or could it be something else. I'd greatly appreciate any help.
