I have this equipment that leaked moisture from the bottom, which the PQ3201 damaged the track and does not turn on the machine. remove all two mosfets from that area such as PQ3201(high) AND PQ3202(low). these feed the VCCSA rail. but on this track it has a very low resistance, approaching my absolute zero of my tester to ground (1.3ohm). Could the CPU be bad? I have made this measurement by desoldering the PL3201 coil, taking that measurement on the CPU side.
On the other hand, on the mosfet side, the PU3201 controller, which is the pwm controller, appears to have a damage since...

by beBossHi,
as noobie to this please excuse my lack of experience.
I am trying to remove a BIOS password from this machine:
HP ProDesk 400 G6 Mini
but so far I still have no success.
I bought CH341 programmer and decided to give it a try.
The programmer came with 8 pin cables and connectors or whatever everything else is called so I had to buy a new 16 pin cable because the chip which I think is the BIOS is with 16 pins..

by PantherDaveHi all!
I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

by Dallen BryceHello, I'm trying to remove the password from an HP Elitebook 650 G10. It's motherboard has two chips, a 32mb spi (W25Q256JVEN) and 32mb ec (GD25B256EYIG). I have created a dump of each, but don't know which one(s) to patch. Could someone point me in the right direction or just patch it for me?...

Hello everyone,
The operating system often hangs after any graphics operation like scroll/zoom/menu open/button click. It is the same after swapping all parts (CPUs: dual Opteron 2216 or 8435, RAM: 8x1GB or 8x4GB, power supply : 800W or 1000W, graphics card : original Quadro FX 3500 replaced with GeForce 7300 LE to decrease power) one at a time, and trying several operating systems (Windows 7/10, Linux, FreeBSD; 32 and 64 bit versions of all of them). But if the motherboard has been sleeping for months/years, the first few minutes are more stable before it warms up. This seems to come with...Today, 10:20 AM -
by dclass-proHi guys, I have this macbook a1278 which doesn't have any image on the display, but when I turn it on I hear the chime.
I found the L9008 choke open and reset it.
When I turn on the macbook I have about 3v on pins 3 and 4 of the display so everything is ok but I still don't have the image.
On the backligt pin 21 and 22 I have 0v but the fuses are all ok.
What can I check?
I tried another display from a macbook a1278 but from the previous year and it still doesn't work.Yesterday, 02:17 AM

by NagyeszHi all,
Model: HP Pavilion 14-ce3010nh 8BV97EA
Board number: DAG7ALMB8C0 - G7AL REV C
Issue: I have an HP Pavilion 14-ce3010nh 8BV97EA laptop. When plugged into the charger, it turns on, but there is no display, the fans do not run, and the processor gets slightly warm. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is. I've reflashed the BIOS twice without any success. No post. Already tried out with another ram stick with no luck
I measured the voltage with the HP turned on in red, and I measured their resistance with the HP turned off in green....Today, 04:10 AM -

Here is the bypass solution for several Lenovo ECs.
This has worked on many ECs.
Only works if password is contained in EC
I succeeded on many models
