my laptop has a weird power-on issue.
Once the laptop has been powered on, it can restart/ wake just fine on battery power or Adapter, ONLY If i have not closed the LCD.
If i am running on battery and have closed the LCD (even momentarily). it will not power-on/ wake-up on battery power no matter the battery percentage.
but once i open the LCD and connect it to the adapter (even momentarily) it will wake up gain and I wont experience any issues till i close the LCD.
i do not know where to look for repair.

The Laptop is not booting, maybe because a failed Biosupdate.
No bootlogo, just the Fan and the lights starting.

I see some signs : burn marks, resistance drop by comparison with good board (40 KOhms to 1 KOhms for example)… but not easy to be sure of the diagnose. Because I can't access on all tracks (balls) with the meter.

Hello, Basically a customer tried updating his mini PC using a USB stick but it bricked the computer. I've tried flashing a new chip with a CH318A programmer using neoprogrammer and a ROM file from minisforum's website. From what I have read on the forum here, there isn't a readily available guide on how to serialize an existing bios to the motherboard. I have a dump from the original BIOS chip, I did an additional one and did the fc /b command to make sure no discrepancies were found. My patient is an A2338 Macbook Pro M1 (late 2020).
It had some corrosion around JT710 and JT700 caused by liquid spill, as well as against the protective barrier around the USB-C chips UF000 and UF100. So I took the main board out and cleaned it with a toothbrush and alcohol, then with alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner. Cleaned the touchbar flex connectors as well. Hello, I have a bricked Eluktro laptop, can't seem to find a bios dump. I would like to have the ME cleaned please. The bios download from the Clevo repo has a file with a ".12" extension that is the same file size as the original bios but it is "configured" as opposed to "initialized" according to ME analyzer. I tried it and the laptop still did not boot.

Hello,
I have a Seasonic X660 from 2011 a very quiet and reliable PSU it worked great but in 2023 started that it wont turn on when the PC is sleeping, if I switch fast the power switch on the PSU than it would switch on and also the PC wakes up from the sleep.
If the PC is shut down normally than also the PSU starts normally every time.
(I checked the PSU on another PC with the same result for sure the PSU is faulty)
Has somebody a clue what is wrong in the PSU? has somebody repaired this fault for this exact PSU? I would like to repair this PSU.

Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping you can help me out.
My Samsung Galaxy Book suddenly stopped working and won't turn on at all. I noticed that the component in the attached photo looks burnt out. I have one strange issue with Macbook Pro 13" A1706 (touch bar) 4 TB ports
Issue is that all 4 ports are working but on one port only one side (when i rotate connector 180 degree there is nothing (ampmeter is not turned on at all) and charger (original apple) is put to protective mode, I have to unplug USB from the power brick to enable it again.
I've tried multiple USB-C ports (one one side all ports all sides work when i reconnect it to other side both ports work but one only on one side)
