Bios Minisforum UM780 XTX
Hello, Basically a customer tried updating his mini PC using a USB stick but it bricked the computer. I've tried flashing a new chip with a CH318A programmer using neoprogrammer and a ROM file from minisforum's website. From what I have read on the forum here, there isn't a readily available guide on how to serialize an existing bios to the motherboard. I have a dump from the original BIOS chip, I did an additional one and did the fc /b command to make sure no discrepancies were found. The machine model number is Minisforum UM780 XTX, machine serial is MC495UU78XQQMQA0089, Board Serial is F78SD784048A1050804....

why would you need the serial number of the computer? genuinely curious. And I don't have a BIOS backup, i just have the USB with the bios file he downloaded onto it. I could make one from the programmer but its gonna be the same bios....

ASUS GL702V Bios flash
Hello all, so basically I have a bricked GL702V with no power except a single LED flash on the power button when it is pressed. Customer had tried to flash his bios with a USB and the GL702VM310 version of this laptop's bios. I've been scouring the web for a correct version of his bios but all the ones on the ASUS website are for GL702VM, GL702VT, GL702VS, or GL702VI with versions varying from 300-310. This specific laptop has nothing other than just the GL702V so I don't know which bios is compatible with it. I was planning on programming it with the CH341A programmer as soon as I found the correct...

MINISFORUM UM780XTX Need help with W25Q256JWEIQ BIOS flash
Hello all, so basically I have a MINISFORUM UM780XTX that wasn't reading an NVME, so the customer tried to update the BIOS himself with a USB drive and bricked his computer. Now I'm trying to get the PC up again by flashing the BIOS with a CH341A programmer. BIOS chip is Winbond W25Q256JWEIQ. I have a new chip soldered onto the board that connects into the programmer and when I detect it with neoprogrammer it detects the chip but not the correct one? But, it does require the 1.8V adapter for this specific chip. So when It's plugged into the programmer with the adapter it doesn't detect the IC...
