First of all, ive veen reading these forums for some time and its always veen very helpful, so i thank you all for this amazing comunity.
I have a lmq-2 13268-1 motherboard from a lenovo x1 carbon 3rd gen. And the MX25l12873f (U49) bios pin 8 is not getting voltage.
So far these are my diagnostics:
When given 19v trough power adapter, consumption reads 0.003 amps for about 5 seconds then nothing.
When power button pressed same result, and i get three green blinking lights from the pwr btn led. But foesnt turn on.
If i plug the battery i get the same behaviour but the consumptions gets constant at about 0.003 amps. No battery charging.
No shorts found whatsoever. Nothing gets hot. I get 5v and 3.3v rails on the coils when i press pwr btn. Then nothing.
Never getting voltage on cpu coils. And the resistance to ground from those seems normal. Between 10 and 20 ohms.
BIOS never gets the 3v voltage. In this board, schematics indicates this 3v bios rail is named vcc3lan and it seems coming from the think engine super io chip (U101) and passsin trought the main CPU. But i never find it droping those 3v anywhere.
Ive trying reprogramming bios with ch341 programmer and it seems fine, tested with difetent bios files always same result, even with bios desoldered the behaviour its always the same.
Everything indicates that think engine is not working properly.
Also i would like to ask what is the mec 1633 chip for? And if it is somewhats related to the 3v bios rail.
Any help would be apreciated!
