I seem to have spent a long time searching for a pint out diagram for an old STK4392 amplifier chip without success. Can anyone help?
Thanks

by Arc717I am trying to downgrade my bios on my Alienware so I can undervolt & overclock my CPU, and overclock my ram. I need to get to bios 1.2.2 for this. Dell doesn't allow downgrades, and their bios file is an exe compiled in c++, so I can't decompile it easily. I am wondering if I can flash the bios manually using a usb flasher. I would like to know if this is possible, and if so, where the bios chip would be. I know flashers are pretty cheap and the bios chip is 8-pin. There are two of these chips only when I open the back panel of the laptop. I'm not sure if there are any on the other side of...05-17-2024, 03:34 PM

by monitronI am struggling with a Clevo NL51RU linux laptop that does not boot because of a corrupt main bios.
I did not succeed to build a new bios. Maybe somebody has more experience with this laptop and can build a working bios for me or has a working dump.

by dclass-proHi guys, I have this macbook a1278 which doesn't have any image on the display, but when I turn it on I hear the chime.
I found the L9008 choke open and reset it.
When I turn on the macbook I have about 3v on pins 3 and 4 of the display so everything is ok but I still don't have the image.
On the backligt pin 21 and 22 I have 0v but the fuses are all ok.
What can I check?
I tried another display from a macbook a1278 but from the previous year and it still doesn't work.Today, 02:17 AM -

by kalemaroniI waited 5 days for this to arrive only to find it's not the right model! Rather than wait for a China order, I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to cut and splice/solder anywhere?
12 pins vs 10 pins, it's a for a Dell AlienWare x15 R2 (P111F003) and the one advertised on eBay was Dell Alienware 15 R1 R2 R3 AW15R1 AW15R2 DC IN Power Jack 0784VK DC30100TN00.
Also, there seem to be 4 wires soldered to the back of the jack on the X15 R2 and only 3 on the 15 R2. What would the 4th one be?

Thanks in advance!
