Backlight problem JVC LT-60KB607
I took apart the TV to check and examine the LED strips. I measured them with the multimeter in DIODE mode and some LED diodes were burned out (they didn't turn on and others did). I ordered a new LED strip but when I put it in, some LED diodes burned out again. I did a little online research and it turns out that this TV model has a common fault in its power supply in the part that feeds the backlight. From here on I need your help because I don't know much about this type of power supply. Thank you very much in advance.

iPhone 14 PRO CPU SWAP
Hey!
i have a quik question:
im having a iphone 14 pro. trying to make a CPU swap but i just have a EU Donnor Board (With sim card) and the original board is USA Board (E-SIM) . is there any problem with the baseband activation bettewen them?
i already made the swap but not getting IMEI (BASEBAND) and unfortunately don't have iSocket to test it first. Thanks -

where to get trusted CD3217. Problem with A2337 Macbook Air
Hey! As the title says. i don't know if this is the right place to ask but i need to get trusted USB C Controllers (CD3217-CD3215) For macs and dont know where to get them. i dont know if you guys know where is a good place to get it.
The thing is that i have a Macbook air A2337 M1 and i dont have a donnor board to get the CD3217. So i try the CD3217 from a A2141 Board and at first, whitout his eprom it does not convert 5v to 20v. then i put the original CD3217 eprom from the A2141 and then the macbook A2337 conver the 5v to 20v but still not turning on. i guess that the CD3217 is... -

Problem: Not turning on / No green light
Im using by3200s charger.
Voltajes:
PPBUS_G3H = 12.26v
SMC_RESET_L = 3.3v
PP3V42_G3H = 3.42v
U7000 =
Pin 1 CHGR_AGATE = 0v
Pin 2 CHRG_DCIN = 19v
Pin 3 CHRG_ACIN = 4.6v
Pin 10 SMBUS_SMC_BSA_SDA = 3.3V
Pin 11 SMBUS_SMC_BSA_SCL = 3.3V

yes, it does the switch between LOW and HIGH logic levels.

Of course i thought the same thing, i replace the SMC and it still show the same behavior.
in that post that you re put in as reference. The guy says that he replace the SMC twice and after that the mac has the same behavior. in fact, he take off the SMC and put on another MB and it work normally.
I'm going to look for another SMC and try it again. I'll change it and then I'll tell you how it went....Leave a comment:

Hi! this is a Macbook pro A1278 MB: 820-3115-B. It came to me from another store with an attend to repair. Now im trying myself to repair this one.
It doesn't turn on and there is no green/orange light either.
Im using mac power cable by-3200.
those are the actual voltajes values and missing lines:
im stuck here with this one here. dont know where to look now. im thinking about SMC (i already change it, dont know if it is ok)

R7010 pin 1(PPDCIN_G3H) = 19.98 / PIN 2 (CHGR_ACIN) = 4.73v
R5087 = 415k ohms (measurement before taking it out of board)
R5087 pin 1(SMC_BC_ACOK)= 3.07v / pin 2(PP3V42_G3H)= 3.44v. (measurement after put another resistance)
OKAY. now... this happens; I take out R5087 from the board to measure the resistance. next thing. it blow from my tweezers. i put another one and the macbook it's turning on without any problem again (at least for now).

try some thing simple firts: find the CMOS battery and remove for arround 10seconds. after that put it back and see if anithing change.
if your laptop keep doing the same behavior them is time to take out the board and do an visual inspection to see if there is anithing visible, like corrosion.

some times the macbook turn on (im using BY-3200) and when i disconect the cable just dont turn on again.
i already change the U7000 and the SMC (before ask for help) and got the same behavior.
