My W26361-W84-X-02 motherboard starts but don't show image (no logo screen neither bios). Because, I have two of them I desoldered the bios chip from the no working motherboard and I soldered it to the working motherboard and the motherboard works OK, so the bios firmware isn't the problem. Below I took some measurements from the no working motherboard when is power on. Also, I replaced the RAM and didn't work again (maybe some pins from the RAM slot don't have the right voltage?). I replaced and the bios battery, and I made reset on the bios and again the problem...

Hello everyone,
The operating system often hangs after any graphics operation like scroll/zoom/menu open/button click. It is the same after swapping all parts (CPUs: dual Opteron 2216 or 8435, RAM: 8x1GB or 8x4GB, power supply : 800W or 1000W, graphics card : original Quadro FX 3500 replaced with GeForce 7300 LE to decrease power) one at a time, and trying several operating systems (Windows 7/10, Linux, FreeBSD; 32 and 64 bit versions of all of them). But if the motherboard has been sleeping for months/years, the first few minutes are more stable before it warms up. This seems to come with...Yesterday, 10:20 AM -
by ChattFixHello everyone, I need some help with a PS5 Slim board EDM-040 that will beep but no light or fan spin.
When I connect my bench power supply, (12v 0.500amp) the amps go between .135-.035 then back to .005.
When I attach UART I get the error code below. I have replaced the DDR4 ram IC with one from a donor board. Cannot verify is the IC was working or not, still same error.

by ResoluteHawkI have an Asus G14 (GA401QM) that has a power issue. Originally the board had a shorted 5V rail and dead EC. I reballed a working EC, soldered it on, and I resolved the 5V issue by replacing the APL6012 and the low side 5V mosfet. Resistances on all power rails are healthy now, but 20V does not make it through the first MOSFET. 20V is present on the drain of the first MOSFET, but there is no voltage on the gate or source.
When diagnosing this issue, I thought that the issue was due to the BQ24800 chip not outputting the correct signals so I soldered on a known working chip and the...05-08-2024, 01:30 PM -

by caspianDear Members,
This laptop used to work with a 19v 3.4A adapter.
After 4 years of using it, now, the adapter's output voltage drops to 17v when windows loads up. Then the laptop suddenly turns off.
Today, I have connected a 19.8v 4.5A adapter to this laptop. Then the adapter's output voltage dropped to 19.4v but the laptop worked fine.
In addition, I noticed that the cpu power coils get warm to about 50'C but the mosfets are cool.
All the voltage rails on the mainboard are fine without any reduction except for the 19v rail. All the ICs and coils on the mainboard are...Today, 01:36 AM -

by NagyeszHi all,
Model: HP Pavilion 14-ce3010nh 8BV97EA
Board number: DAG7ALMB8C0 - G7AL REV C
Issue: I have an HP Pavilion 14-ce3010nh 8BV97EA laptop. When plugged into the charger, it turns on, but there is no display, the fans do not run, and the processor gets slightly warm. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is. I've reflashed the BIOS twice without any success. No post. Already tried out with another ram stick with no luck
I measured the voltage with the HP turned on in red, and I measured their resistance with the HP turned off in green....Yesterday, 04:10 AM -

by dcbwThe PSU works, but shortly after powering on (either in the G5, or by shorting the power-on pin to ground) it begins buzzing loudly. It also makes the LED lights connected to the same circuit flicker. It's definitely a buzzing, not a high pitched whine.
The buzzing seems to come from the high voltage side of the board, perhaps from the white relay. Could the relay be bad, or could the 5V supply be bad enough that it's unable to keep the relay on? Any pointers to help isolate the issue? Thanks!
