Hey Gurus
Kinda as the title says, some dufus managed to drop a password in said bios & I'm running around in circles to clear it. FWIW, I've included the 8MB - 64MB & Asus' support site bios-zzzz. Seeing as I'm not a code guy in the slightest, I could sure use the help.

by SageHappyHello guys,
I hope you are all good. One day my Lenovo thinkpad 11e laptop just started displaying "Thermal sensing error" after I switched it on. At first I thought it was an issue to do with a defective thermal sensor in my fan. I replaced the old fan with another used fan but, the problem still persists. From where I bought the fan, they said the fan was working just fine so, my question is how can I rectify this problem. Thank you in advance.Today, 12:35 PM -

by jeremy96Hi everyone,
I recently bought a used PS4 and discovered that the power button is broken. Upon closer inspection, I found that the traces for the power button on the PCB are damaged and torn.
Does anyone know where these traces lead or have any advice on how to repair them?
Thanks in advance for your help!...1 PhotoYesterday, 05:01 AM -
by johnbetonHello,
I have a A1706 with 820-00923-A board. The laptop came in with non-working keyboard. I bought a new top-cover with keyboard and transfered everything to the new topcover.
Since then the macbook will not charge or power-up. Before replacing top cover, I started the macbook to test, and it worked fine apart from keyboard. Then shut it down and did replacement.
This is what I measure so far:
Resistance from F7000 to ground is 123 Ohm on pin 1 and 2
PPBUS_G3H = 0,79v
PPBUS_HS_CPU = 0,79v
PPBUS_HS_OTH5V = 0,79v

That laptop wont charge I dont know if the charger is genuine.
To investigate further does anyone know about
how the id pin works for this model, is it a pullup to plus or a analog voltage divider or a
complete digital exchange.

by JxxKHello
I am repairing the A2780 (M2Pro 16").
There is no schematics and board view of A2708 yet, so I am referring 820-02100 (A2485).
Stuck 5.2V, 0.02A
'PP3V8_AON' short on diode mode and no voltage.
'PP3V8_AON_MPMU' short on diode mode.
'PPBUS_AON' looks fine. 12.3V
'PPVIN_P3V8AON' looks fine(not short on diode mode), 12.3V
I tried to remove the U5700, Q5800, Q5820, Q5840 and PP3V8 aond still stuck.
It seems to be a problem in the process of moving from 'PPBUS_AON' to 'PP3V8_AON'.

by zdwenaGood day,
I have a motherboard from a Lenovo legion 5 laptop. The previous service was unable to repair it. So I started the repair myself. The motherboard wouldn't turn on at all. The problem was in the mosfet in the PU101 which starts the power supply and in the PQ8203. And in the burnt Lenovo IT8227E chip and also in a short circuit in the power supply. I fixed and replaced everything. I have the same parts board. Now the board turns on and the battery is charging, the power button lights up green. But I am not getting the image. And the board turns itself off in approx. 25-30...Today, 04:49 AM -

by Dan the DogI need to find a replacement for this diode on one of the six gate drivers of a full-bridge IGBT inverter for a servo motor. It has S3 on the package. How can I find out for sure the right diode that I need. I believe it is schottky because it has 0.2V drop across.
The anode is on pin Ve and cathode on pin DESAT on 316J gate driver IC. Also would be nice if anyone had an idea of the purpose it is serving as it is not included in the suggested schematic of the 316J datasheet.
