Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping you can help me out.
My Samsung Galaxy Book suddenly stopped working and won't turn on at all. I noticed that the component in the attached photo looks burnt out. I think it's a voltage regulator, but I can't find any information about this IC online. I've searched using the code on the chip, but I haven't been able to find a replacement....

Hey all,
I've got an ASUS laptop (Asus X409DL Rev 2.0) that had a little liquid spill on it however the majority was on the daughter board for the I/O stuff which is connected over a ribbon cable which I have disconnected for now. A small bit of liquid did however get onto what schematics and boardview show is a DC step down IC; a Realtek RT8249CQGW - markings: 2N=. There is no short on the main power rail as I have 19v with the charger plugged in however I have no other power, standby or always on rails anywhere on the board. First of all, ive veen reading these forums for some time and its always veen very helpful, so i thank you all for this amazing comunity.
I have a lmq-2 13268-1 motherboard from a lenovo x1 carbon 3rd gen. And the MX25l12873f (U49) bios pin 8 is not getting voltage.
So far these are my diagnostics:
When given 19v trough power adapter, consumption reads 0.003 amps for about 5 seconds then nothing.

i have a Surface Pro 3โ that doesn't boot(it turn on but no screen)
i have downloaded several bios dump for it and with some of these bios surface will boot to windows but after one restart device will not boot
does anyone has experience with this issue or have a working bios for this model?

My patient is an A2338 Macbook Pro M1 (late 2020).
It had some corrosion around JT710 and JT700 caused by liquid spill, as well as against the protective barrier around the USB-C chips UF000 and UF100. So I took the main board out and cleaned it with a toothbrush and alcohol, then with alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner. Cleaned the touchbar flex connectors as well. Hi! I have a TV, Samsung ue49ku6100kxxu, no boot, when connect the power cord, standby led and the backlight up and down repeated. When i disconnect the MB, the backlight is up.
I take some measurement and all ok. I have already try tape method and same happen, if I disconnect both flex from mainboard to panel tv same happened. This is a software error?

I got an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO mainboard with missing components on the backside near the HDMI output.
Unfortunately there is no documentation available nowhere for that board, I did also not find any similar ASUS board design. Even Russians nor Chines have anything available here (nor BV, nor schematics), so only way to discover the parts is from a real physical board.
On the picture left the area where the missing componets are is shown.
On the right picture the detaileed view is shown.

I'm looking for ways to ensure that my desktop computer automatically powers on once the power is restored after an outage. I've heard suggestions about shorting the front panel I/O connector on the motherboard or shorting the SMPS 20/24 pin to accomplish this. Hello! I'm trying to resuscitate a Macbook that the local tech gave up on. I have the board view and schematic and have the main board out of the case.
Of the 4 usb-c ports, 3 cycle at 5V - they all go up to about 1.5A, then seem to switch off, back to 5V 0A, up to 1.5A, and off again. The cycle lasts a few seconds - maybe 3s.
The 4th port doesn't cycle and draws ~0.5A at 5V consistently. It seems it's the port linked to U3100 - it's on that side of the board and is the port closest to the battery and the CD3215C00 chips.

Hello, Basically a customer tried updating his mini PC using a USB stick but it bricked the computer. I've tried flashing a new chip with a CH318A programmer using neoprogrammer and a ROM file from minisforum's website. From what I have read on the forum here, there isn't a readily available guide on how to serialize an existing bios to the motherboard. I have a dump from the original BIOS chip, I did an additional one and did the fc /b command to make sure no discrepancies were found.
