My problem is Serial Number etc. is empty.
previously this laptop no POST because failed bios update. a few moments later the laptop died because EC short.
Replace EC flashed from seller and flash bios from official acer, copy DMI & win key. The result is Serial Number etc. in bios is empty.
I also tried flashing some bios from this forum and some bios from my own backup, but no results.

How is this charging process related to EC / KBC? I think they keep communicating so they can charge. for example on the SMB0_DAT & SMB0_CLK pins in the battery socket, where these pins are connected directly to the KBC. There are times when the pin drops because of the KBC so the charging process doesn't occur, there are also times when you need to flash the KBC or replace the KBC so that the charging process occurs.Leave a comment:

I am working on an HP 15-dk0042TX laptop with no sound, the sound symbol has a red cross even though the driver has been installed.
I've replaced the sound ic and flashed latest version of the bios from official website, the results are the same.
I did a clean ME bios and the result was that the sound was successful but the second HDD was not detected, while the SSD was still detected.
try cleaning the ME bios in another way, the result is that the HDD or SSD is detected but there is no sound.
from conditions like that I'm sure problem is in the bios file, but I didn't... -

On CSME 14 I did not find the ME Region.bin file in the Decomp folder as mentioned in point 5.
I usually clean ME by replacing the ME file via the menu in FIT, namely "Intel(R) ME Binary File".
