Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN Help needed - Static line on screen
    by Kiberge
    HI guys!

I've got a Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN with a problem and need some advice and I hope this is the forum to use?
I'm from Norway so I'd like to apology in advance if my description of the fault is kind of simple or the names on the components are way off. 😊

the TV is powering up, working as normally and picture is all good, except a 1.5-inch-wide vertical line of snow/static across the screen.

This TV is a Signage Display/Public Display version and it's been used at my work for 4-5 years showing commercials 24/7. The fault occurred when...

Corrupted BIOS, need help in getting a new one
    by werinq
Hello, recently I encontered an issue with my BIOS, it just corrupted out of nothing, it all happened after I just shutdown my laptop. I tried extracting the BIOS from the .exe file, but no succeed. I followed the guide attached to this topic, but it didn't help me. I tried using different BIOS dump files from this topic, but none worked. So this is why I ask to have BIOS dump file, so I can reprogramm it.

M1 A2338 screen and touchbar issues after cleaning up liquid damage
    by jkruns
    Hello everyone,

This is my first post after browsing this wonderful treasure trove of knowledge for many, many evenings. I've decided to learn how to fix these things, properly.

My patient is an A2338 Macbook Pro M1 (late 2020).

It had some corrosion around JT710 and JT700 caused by liquid spill, as well as against the protective barrier around the USB-C chips UF000 and UF100. So I took the main board out and cleaned it with a toothbrush and alcohol, then with alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner. Cleaned the touchbar flex connectors as well. The board looks...

I have one strange issue with Macbook Pro 13" A1706 (touch bar) 4 TB ports
Issue is that all 4 ports are working but on one port only one side (when i rotate connector 180 degree there is nothing (ampmeter is not turned on at all) and charger (original apple) is put to protective mode, I have to unplug USB from the power brick to enable it again.

I've tried multiple USB-C ports (one one side all ports all sides work when i reconnect it to other side both ports work but one only on one side)

There is no issue problem on the board (no liquid damage, no damaged...

Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15IMH05 - BIOS REQUEST
    by mrgumshot
    Hi all,

I've got a Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 15IMH05 with a black screen issue. I've tried a BIOS file which i saw in another post and changed some things in a Hex editor.
So i transfered the DMI info from my original BIOS to the one i got from the post. Flashed it to the chip and the laptop was booting again but very slow post.

After a couple of boots it went back to black screen again. Tried to flash the same BIN file on it which i used before but its staying at the black screen now unfortunately.

I hope someone can help me out. Attached is my [B]ORIGINAL...

    Bios dump semi-corrupt - A1502 2015
    by ahoonid
    Hey everyone,

I tried creating a bios dump of a 820-4924A macbook pro to change the serial number. I didn't verify the dump and quickly erased the chip before making sure it's a good copy and now the bios seems a bit corrupt.

Now since I wanted to write the original SN of the previous damaged board, I simply created a dump from the original motherboard and wrote it on the new motherboard's bios chip. I then remembered the whole ME region issue and now I am stuck. I tried to follow piernov's video on how to clean the ME but got confused half the way through 😅.

Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping you can help me out.

My Samsung Galaxy Book suddenly stopped working and won't turn on at all. I noticed that the component in the attached photo looks burnt out. I think it's a voltage regulator, but I can't find any information about this IC online. I've searched using the code on the chip, but I haven't been able to find a replacement....
