Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15IMH05 - BIOS REQUEST

    Hi all,

I've got a Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 15IMH05 with a black screen issue. I've tried a BIOS file which i saw in another post and changed some things in a Hex editor.
So i transfered the DMI info from my original BIOS to the one i got from the post. Flashed it to the chip and the laptop was booting again but very slow post.

After a couple of boots it went back to black screen again. Tried to flash the same BIN file on it which i used before but its staying at the black screen now unfortunately.

I hope someone can help me out. Attached is my ORIGINAL bios.

I'm afraid i don't have the serial number as the bottom case doesnt have any text on it.

    Its the:
    - Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3
On the Motherboard near the RAM slots it states : Gy530/GY531/GY532 NM-C871 REV 2.0

    Thanks!

Flashed the bios and verified writing.
Laptop doesn't boot with this. It does the same what the original bios does.
It keeps rebooting the laptop, keyboard and powerbutton keeps flashing every 1 second or so.

I think i was too fast with the reply. Its staying on now with the keyboard LEDS on but still a black screen.
            Its different behavior than before.

I don't know if it will help but

                          Hello,
I have a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15IMH05 laptop and I need the BIOS file. I have searched the official Lenovo website and other sources, but I couldn't find a compatible version for my hardware. System Details:
                          • Brand & Model: Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15IMH05
                          • Model Number: 81Y40000LM
                          • Motherboard: GY530/GY531/GY532 NM-C871 Rev 2.0
                          • Serial Number (SN): PF2E4TA4
                          • Processor: Intel Core i5-10300H 4.5GHz
                          • RAM: 8GB DDR4
                          • Storage: 1TB HDD
                          • Screen: 15.6" FHD IPS
                          • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB
                          Problem Description:

My laptop powers on, showing a white LED on the power button, but no display output. A few seconds later, it restarts in a loop. I cannot access the BIOS (F2 does not work), nor the boot menu (F12 does not respond). I have lost the original bios.

Thread merged. Do you have an SPI programmer, can you make a backup of the corrupt bios, what do you mean you lost the original.

I made a backup, flashed a new BIOS and accidentally deleted the original BIOS backup.
