Dear forum, I would like to ask some help identifying the backlight circuits resistors to limit the ampere to the backlight leds.
The power supply is a BN44-00852 and I want to decrease the backlight to increase the lifetime of the LEDs.
The TV is pretty much always on, used for CCTV cameras.
I suspecting R9838 -> R9841 resistors but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance!

Problem with TV:
- Netflix stopped working so i tried to do factory reset from the TV menu.
- I confirmed on-screen but the factory reset did not happen even. It did not take me to 'first-time installation' screen as mentioned in the manual.
- After waiting for some time, the TV went into a boot loop.
- JVC logo comes on the screen and LED light flashes for some seconds, then it reboots again and the same thing happens

by BL4CK0uHello,
i'm trying to understand what is wrong with this laptop. The fans are not spinning and i can't boot to windows (laptop is trying but endless loop on loading)
Here is the symptoms that i have :
- Takes 20s to display something when power button is pressed
- F1/F2/F9 access ok, F10 hangs, nothing after
- Can update the bios and do the bios recovery, but didn't solve the issue
- Tried CMOS clear, same, no change
I suspect of course the bios chip, but is it a software or hardware issue, i don't know that"s why i'm asking...Today, 02:37 AM -

I downloaded a BIOS file from Lenovo and once I extracted the actual BIOS from the executable, it is 16MB in size, but my IC(Winbond 25Q80DV) is only 8MB in capacity. I have read you can trim the BIOS file with a hex editor but I can't find any instructions on specifically what you will remove.

by pc boyHi everyone. An HP X2 1012 G2 came the other day. The problem was that the device drained the battery while off. I checked and saw the current is 0.2 before start. I went and checked parts on the MB and saw that the JHL6340 IC that is responsible for controlling Type-C gets hot. Everything worked fine and I checked charging and data of type-C both were OK. I went ahead and replaced the JHL6340. Now it does not get hot, no current before start, charging is OK, but the data of type-c is lost. I mean any type-c device like flash memory or hdmi adapter etc. do not work. I tried another jhl6340 and...Yesterday, 03:34 AM

Trying to get a device for EMMC repair, and it's very difficult to lookup all the words to find if I'm on the right track lol.
Trying to reprogram EMMC on Sony/Hisense mainly but would like to hit a few other brands.
My question is would either of these work? And is there a specific card reader I need for TV emmc? There is like 10-40 additional pieces that I can get but not sure what I actually need for my application only.
I may do eeprom as well. Can someone point...04-21-2024, 08:18 AM -

by michdundeeHi all,
I'm facing a issue... hope you could help me. I have a T-CON board BN41-02112A from Samsung 55inch Curve TV.
I have just only 2 status blue LEDs ON since LED3 is off. I have tried to test some test points but VON is NOT OK very close to 0V. Is there someone that can help me on the debugging the issue? I'm supplying the board from an external 12V voltage source.
Thank you in advance.
BR,
Michele
