i've got for repair Lenovo L340-15IRH fg541/fg741 nm-c362 rev 1.0, laptop have instant short 20v 0.20amp draw, lv5083a goes to 100degree, i've removed 1 shorted cap next to the IC and short still remain, from look of it short comes from legs 16-25, i can't find what this IC i believe is 3/5V regulator?
First mosfets normal 20v Source and drain and Gate 25v...

This is my first post after browsing this wonderful treasure trove of knowledge for many, many evenings. I've decided to learn how to fix these things, properly.
My patient is an A2338 Macbook Pro M1 (late 2020).
It had some corrosion around JT710 and JT700 caused by liquid spill, as well as against the protective barrier around the USB-C chips UF000 and UF100. So I took the main board out and cleaned it with a toothbrush and alcohol, then with alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner. Cleaned the touchbar flex connectors as well. I got an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO mainboard with missing components on the backside near the HDMI output.
Unfortunately there is no documentation available nowhere for that board, I did also not find any similar ASUS board design. Even Russians nor Chines have anything available here (nor BV, nor schematics), so only way to discover the parts is from a real physical board.
On the picture left the area where the missing componets are is shown.
On the right picture the detaileed view is shown.

Hi everyone. I'm new on this things, this is my first amplifier after I start offering repair service almost for free, just for learning purpouse
So I have a amp that is going to protection mode. I saw that if I remove the ribbon cable which sends from main board B+,B- and signal for amplifiers card, is not going to protection mode.
So, from that ribbon cable y disconnect everything but b+ b-, and amp goes again to protection mode. So my guess was something is wrong in the amp board.
I disconnect all transistors and amp is ok.

Hello, Basically a customer tried updating his mini PC using a USB stick but it bricked the computer. I've tried flashing a new chip with a CH318A programmer using neoprogrammer and a ROM file from minisforum's website. From what I have read on the forum here, there isn't a readily available guide on how to serialize an existing bios to the motherboard. I have a dump from the original BIOS chip, I did an additional one and did the fc /b command to make sure no discrepancies were found. Hello! I'm trying to resuscitate a Macbook that the local tech gave up on. I have the board view and schematic and have the main board out of the case.
Of the 4 usb-c ports, 3 cycle at 5V - they all go up to about 1.5A, then seem to switch off, back to 5V 0A, up to 1.5A, and off again. The cycle lasts a few seconds - maybe 3s.
The 4th port doesn't cycle and draws ~0.5A at 5V consistently. It seems it's the port linked to U3100 - it's on that side of the board and is the port closest to the battery and the CD3215C00 chips.
