Looking for a solderless breadboard that is not trash

I like to get one on mouser/digikey along with a order i plan to place
i have 2 breadboards one from ebay w/ horrendous contact resistance (to the point on NC)
and another from ali-express that feels like i am going to break my micro controller putting it into the thing

any suggestions? (note that i am not spending $50 on a 3m board)

This is what our labs in university made us buy; ABRA breadboard model ABRA-24:
    https://abra-electronics.com/boards/...s-abra-24.html

Still have and use it somewhat regularly. I've broken a few contacts over the years (can't seem to insert anything in those few positions), but I can't say I've been nice to it either (I've plugged far too many recycled components from trash/scrap boards before, sometimes with too much solder on the pins of the components or components with leads that are a little too thick to fit... but that's what she said. )

Can't say how it compares to other breadboards, though, as I didn't buy any others. The only other breadboard I have looks exactly the same as the ABRA-24, but IIRC it was a different brand (though it may still be made by the same manufacturer as the ABRA, as they are nearly identical.) That one I found in the trash can at a different university I went to. Good chance it's the same thing. It's in storage ATM, and I have no pictures of it, so don't have a brand and model # for it.

i ordered one from adafruit yesterday along with some PICOs, just found out they have shipping that does not cost ~$20 now
hopefully it is better than the trash ones i have now...

the only thing i use a solder less board for is to test something that is either for temporary use, DOA test parts, or to make sure something will work before i spend all day putting it on a soldered board

        Same here.
In fact, I just put together / tested a speaker protection circuit on it last week. It worked just as I expected, though that's no surprise, since it's a rather simple circuit... not to mention I did a simulation of the circuit in Multisim as well. Nevertheless, I always like to test out the real circuit on a breadboard before putting it together. At the very least, it gives a very good "live" representation of the thermal aspect of the circuit (i.e. make sure no component runs too hot and etc.)

I have one random ebay board (small one) that seems fine, both the cheap 830 pin ones i got are trash

the one i just got on adafruit works great, i was able to test my MAX7219 and some 7 segment displays with my pico, fuss no hassle (aside from me being dump cause i needed more sleep...) but you can't blame a board for human error, well i tried and my multimeter said it was human error
