Hello. Coming to you from the laptop forum. Have a client with the Fortinet 50E that has 320 Mbps as internet input speed but only 20 Mbps output on each and every downstream port (using FAST.COM to benchmark).
Reseller is stating the Fortinet is 'worn out' which does not sound logical at all unless the flash memory is 'worn out'. They, of course, want to sell another + onsite installation fees.
Can anyone share feedback on this unit? What can cause this sluggish behavior. From our knowledge, this device is snooping on the traffic to halt viruses / hack attacks, etc....04-24-2024, 12:51 PM -

i've got for repair Lenovo L340-15IRH fg541/fg741 nm-c362 rev 1.0, laptop have instant short 20v 0.20amp draw, lv5083a goes to 100degree, i've removed 1 shorted cap next to the IC and short still remain, from look of it short comes from legs 16-25, i can't find what this IC i believe is 3/5V regulator?

we've got a problem with laptop HP Omen 17 - cb1001na GPC72 LA-J672P, laptop does blue-screen every minute or two when on full load, sometimes even while idle. Ram, SSD, cooling everything been tested, we've got 2 other boards of Aliexpress however they always come faulty (One no power, 2nd switch off within a second). Hi all I have 2 Samsung LF22T350FHRXEN, working in a dual screen setup. Out of the blue one of them now wont display full resolution trough HDMI port, Either get out of range message or it will be stuck at 1024x768px. Tried reseting the screen, tested different HDMI Cables but with no luck.

I have a Citronic AC-1USB.
When I run a turntable into it and then try to record it. The volume is too loud and distorting. In the red. Mainly 12” Singles. I haven’t tried a CD into it yet. I’m wondering if there is any way to bring the volume down inside the unit itself. Change a part or two. Put a small pot somewhere as there are no adjustments at all in there. I’m looking for the schematic but not found one yet.

The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

Hi everyone. An HP X2 1012 G2 came the other day. The problem was that the device drained the battery while off. I checked and saw the current is 0.2 before start. I went and checked parts on the MB and saw that the JHL6340 IC that is responsible for controlling Type-C gets hot. Everything worked fine and I checked charging and data of type-C both were OK. I went ahead and replaced the JHL6340. Now it does not get hot, no current before start, charging is OK, but the data of type-c is lost. I have an HP 14-dq0055dx laptop here that came in for boot looping. It was previously taken to another shop and they tried flashing a BIOS firmware to the chip, so I cannot take an original dump. For a second or two, a message will come up on the screen that says:
This loop will go on for as long as you like. I let it run for about 12 hours and came in the following morning and it's still looping.

Hey folks, I have this iPad Pro 12,9" 4Gen A2232 here with no charging issue. The main fault was a crossed pins / faulty USB charging port due a bad cable.
So I started to replace this parts:
- replaced usb-c port -> no result
- replaced battery -> no result
- replaced usb-c chip CD3217B12A -> no result
- replaced 343S00326 -> no result
- replaced 343S00327 -> no result
- replaced 343S00328 -> no result
