hp pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dy104np not powering up
Hi all need some help with this hp pavilion x360 convertible, board SLINKY 1.0 UMA, wont power up, no white led, nothing. I'm geting 19V up to the current sense resistor, but nothing from that point onwards. Doesn't seem to be shorted anywere, measured resistance in all inductors and they all seem good.
Charger IC is ISL9538C
Found no Schematics or Board View for this model
Any help would be appreciated -
Any thoughts? I've tried out disconneting the internal keyboard and plugged in a usb keyboard and it does the same. Might work for a while then stops responding, Touchpad wont left click and start right clicking with no user actionLeave a comment:

Asus N550JV Keyboard not working properly
Hi there need some advise. I have an Asus N550JV-CN102H with board N550JV Re2.1 suddendly started to behave weird, with almost no keys working on keyboard, opening random stuff, touchpad also working weird
Nothing has been spilled. Tought, well keyboard has gone bad, ordered a replacement one, installed it, and to my surprise the issue remains the same....
I'm wondering if the EC has gone Bad. Updated Bios also, but with no avail.... Does anyone knows if ITE IT8585E/FX has to be programmed? -

Yes it does look pretty normal, I do see the Dell Logo and Windows spinning wheel and no power messages as I stated before. I'll try to source an original Dell adapter to see if that helps...Last edited by Kambi13; 07-13-2024, 04:10 AM.Leave a comment:

Yeah it's a compatible one, usually there's a warning when you turn on Dell laptops with those universal power adapters, but this one works with no warnings, it's specific for Dell's. This one as 90W, 19,5V with 4.62ALast edited by Kambi13; 07-12-2024, 10:05 AM.Leave a comment:

Dell Inspiron 3542 Turns on works for 30 seconds to 1 minute then turns off
Hi all need some help, I've got a Dell insprion 15 3542 that turns on works for about 30 seconds or sometimes a minute or two and then turns off and wont turn on again until I remove and replug the power connector
Not heat related, everything is ok regarding to that.
All voltages are present.
Wondering if this as anything to do with one wire circuit, the charger is not original, but it was working fine

Samsung LF22T350FHRXEN wont work with HDMI port. Either cant get 1980x1080p resolution, or I get out of range message
Hi all I have 2 Samsung LF22T350FHRXEN, working in a dual screen setup. Out of the blue one of them now wont display full resolution trough HDMI port, Either get out of range message or it will be stuck at 1024x768px. Tried reseting the screen, tested different HDMI Cables but with no luck.
Need some advice

Lenovo V14-IILWont Only post with OnBoard RAM
Hi all, need some help, I've got a Lenovo V14-IIL that as total of 8GB of RAM (4GB onBoard - 4GB Sloted), out of the blue it stopped posting, After investigating, found out that removing the RAM stick from the slot, the laptop would post and work with no other issues. So tried with a different RAM stick suspecting that the original one somehow died, but to my frustration the issue remained, so again tried a different number of known working RAM sticks with different capacities and speeds but with no avail.... Unplugged Battery, removed CMOS battery,Reset and Updated Bios, also measured voltages... -
HP Deskjet 3720 power light flashing and LCD with all icons flashing as well
Hello all need some help, I've got a Deskjet 3720 that turns on but everything is flashing, power light and everything on the lcd also is flashing. There's no paper jams or anything like that, printer is clean inside -

Lenovo IdeaPad 100-15IBD Freezes when loading Windows
Hi all, I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 100-15IBD, motherboard NM-A681 Rev1.0 that posts normally, all voltages ok, but when its starts to load Windows after a few seconds the spinning dots just freezes. Unplugged everything unecessary from the board, tryied different ram sticks with no avail. Tried also just booting from the usb stick and the issue persists. There's also an option in Bios to use Intel's UMA only, turned off secure boot also, and nothing...
Please advice, thinking to ask Bios guru's to clean ME region, just to make sure it's not related

Hi guys, need some help trying to figure out what is happening in this Asus X551MA-SX051H - Board X551MA Rev 2.0
So when pressing the power button power light comes on and after 5 seconds goes off, no shorts found on the board, 19v, 3.3v (at SIO) and 5v present. Measuring bios chip at pin 8 (25Q64FWSIG - 1,8V) there's nothing there but here's the funny part if I remove the ram stick and press power button the board turns on and stays on, now all voltages are present and the cpu is getting warm. Tried different ram sticks but no change.
