    Pin 3 - 3v
    Pin 4 - 3 v
    Pin 5 without battery 3 v with battery connected 0v
    Pin 6- 0.56v
    Pin 7&8 - 8.44v

    Have tried new battery and changed bq737
    When BATT Detect SW is pressed pin5 voltage goes to 0v
    Have traced pin 3 and pin 4 to the it8987e....

    Hello community, I have this notebook with BIOS problem, it ran out of power during an update of the BIOS itself, before that it was perfectly , it does not indicate what it charges, it does not turn on any LED or turn the fan, if anyone knows what the DMI direction is here I leave the backup

    Hello everyone, I have this Asus model X556UA that when plugged in I get the white light but nothing happens when pressing the power button. I've been looking into it following the power sequence and found out that the power button is sending the signal to the EC (PWR_SW#) but the EC is not sending the PM_PWRBTN# to the PCH (it always stays at 3.3V). I'm stuck here and don't know what else can I do, maybe I can get some help. I've seen that this could mean that the PCH is dead but I don't know how I can confirm this. Also this may not be important but when plugged in, the PCH/CPU (they go together...
