Hello everyone,
I have an ASUS Vivobook 14 OLED M3401QA which is not posting. Currently when plugged into power/turned on the power indicator will illuminate and the battery indicator will flash white roughly once every 3 seconds. Leading up to this it would sometimes turn on and then other times not turn on, furthermore it also showed a screen saying "new cpu installed, fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed" and then a screen telling me to recover the bios however it is no longer even posting at this stage.

Anyone ever worked on this board before?
Few issues im trying to resolve:
1. Laptop will not power up without main battery connected (missing 3.3v line)- measuring on the 3.3v coil i can see 0v but for split second it jumps to 3.3v and drops again.
Is this laptop supposed to power on only with battery connected?
2. Battery voltage + line is getting 19v, for my experience 7.4v battery isn't meant to be charged with main line voltage- is this normal?
3. No display on laptop screen, if i disconnect the LVDC cable and connects...Yesterday, 02:50 PM -

Hello,
I have a A1706 with 820-00923-A board. The laptop came in with non-working keyboard. I bought a new top-cover with keyboard and transfered everything to the new topcover.
Since then the macbook will not charge or power-up. Before replacing top cover, I started the macbook to test, and it worked fine apart from keyboard. Then shut it down and did replacement.
This is what I measure so far:
Resistance from F7000 to ground is 123 Ohm on pin 1 and 2
PPBUS_G3H = 0,79v
PPBUS_HS_CPU = 0,79v

I am trying to downgrade my bios on my Alienware so I can undervolt & overclock my CPU, and overclock my ram. I need to get to bios 1.2.2 for this. Dell doesn't allow downgrades, and their bios file is an exe compiled in c++, so I can't decompile it easily. I am wondering if I can flash the bios manually using a usb flasher. I would like to know if this is possible, and if so, where the bios chip would be. I know flashers are pretty cheap and the bios chip is 8-pin. Hello to everyone.
My [B]W26361-W84-X-02[/B] motherboard starts but don't show image (no logo screen neither bios). Because, I have two of them I desoldered the bios chip from the no working motherboard and I soldered it to the working motherboard and the motherboard works OK, so the bios firmware isn't the problem. Below I took some measurements from the no working motherboard when is power on. Also, I replaced the RAM and didn't work again (maybe some pins from the RAM slot don't have the right voltage?). i'm doing some experiments to update my ME with different combinations of IUPs, but i cannot find a RGN ME of my current version 16.0.15.1522 Pre.
Can you help me to clean the ME data of my current bios dump from [I]initialized [/I]to [I]configured[/I], so that i can extract and rebuild via FIT later? I have tried myself several times but due to lack of necessary knowage still unsucessful...

it doesn't have any problem, but the bios programmer won't let me read this chip (it reads on the 'winbound 74M12JWSIG' capsule marked on the MoBo as UC2, it's 128mb , the programmer is XGCU T48 (TL866-3G) version 00.01.31
