Seems red line and resistor bellow it both bridge the same trace.Comment

Re: mec 16xx dump with info block
exe557 is right. Remove RST wire from JTAG connector, put pull up resistor in the place he indicated, choose MEC1633 in RT809H, plug in AC adapter then you can read MEC. After you read it hit erase, unplug ac adapter, leave it 1-2mins, plug in again ac adapter and write back the dump you saved. Then put back pull up resistor. You have all this infos here if you bother to read it.Last edited by volinakis; 10-23-2022, 08:49 AM.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I tried erase as well it also just gives same chip error 0xFFFFFF.
Rst wire removed.
Pads (1-5) connected to RT809h (no resistors inline)
Moved red resistor to yellow position
Board is powered (leds on and I read 3.3v on pad 6)
I also read ever post in the thread and tried all and nothing has worked so far on this stubborn chip.Comment

Re: mec 16xx dump with info block
you said to move resistor from red to yellow i did and still didnt work.
So i held a spare 10K resistor in place on the same yellow point and suddenly it reads now, I stopped holding my 10K and now it works fine.Comment

Re: mec 16xx dump with info block
Ok now that that is solved ill share my diagram and instructions.
T14s - MEC-1663 - Jtag - Pinout - Bios Password Removal

Iv Tried to Use Lenovo Maintenance Utility 1.89 (i7tm38us)
But I get and error *EEPROM Overflow

Re: mec 16xx dump with info block
To set the Serial Number, Model on my Lenovo T14s:
I Used "ThinkPad Config Information Update Utility v1.11" attached
-Extract and run "usbfmtpw.exe" this will format your USB and copy the files over.
(check that the files copied after format. if not manually copy them to the root of the usb).
-Insert to laptop and boot to USB FDD it is EFI not Legacy (USB you just created).
-Now go 1, then use 2 to read current keys. record any keys shown, take a photo of them they will be erased if there not already.
-Now go back to main menu and choose initialize EEPROM, this clears all keys plus UUID and now the overflow error wont happen.
-Now go 1, then use 1 again to add new info, enter C0 then Enter.
-Now enter serial and model in long form will start with 1S so (1STTTTMMMMCCSSSSSSS)
-Enter and Key is stored.
-If you like can add more or go back and use option 3 for a few more config details. (I set my brand name there)
-Once all info is set go to assign UUID, and say Yes.
(once you generate the UUID you cannot edit the serials unless you initialize and do them all over again.
-Reboot and check bios screen your info should be there no more beeps on boot.
Product ID: TTTT-MMMMCC
Serial#: SS-SSSSS
TTTT = Machine Type
MMMM = Model Type
CC = Country Code
SSSSSSS = Serial NumberComment

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

by MephysisHello guys i really need help, i recently updated my DS-7208HGHI-K1 and it somehow got bricked, I've got it up and working now by flashing a new dump file i found but the serial number is really wrong and the uploader of the dump file probably intentionally did it.
I still have the bricked dump file is it possible to transfer the serial number of the "bricked dump" to the "working dump"? -
by Andreas_deHello!
i got a damaged Manson NTP-5561 (60V, 1,6A DC output) and and the main issue is that the controler IC for the LCD display has a short. The controler IC PIC18F87K90 is mounted on the back of the back of the LCD. Vss-Vdd = 3 Ohm. The 5V and 3,3V power line was killed as well, but that is not a problem. A new LDO 3,3V and 5V 7805 is already ordered.
Replacing the PIC18F87K90 is necessary but that makes no sense without having the HEX dump of the new controler.
Does anybody have such a power supply and could do a HEX dump of the Flash and EEPROM memory?

by re-atariHello all, as the title says, I'm very much in need of a valid firmware dump of a Anycubic Photon 5.5 3D resin printer. It's stored in a Winbond 25Q32, so it's 4Mbyte.
Here's a little background for my request. A few weeks ago I bought this 3D printer from a guy who had moved on to a PLA printer. I got it at a vey reasonable price, as it was in a defective state. The seller told me that he had experienced a power failure during a firmware upgrade, after which the printer appeared to be dead. He thought the firmware was corrupted in such a way that the printer was now bricked. As he... -
