My bad. The laptop's condition is so poor that the paint and the stickers were completely worn off / erased.
I had to make wild guesses to get the numbers right. I guess the SN is 934H593,...

Dell Latitude 7310 LA-J261P BIOS
Hi Need chip dumps for this model (Latitude 7310).
When I power it on, only the keyboard and power LED light up for about 3 secs before all shuts off
No fan spin, No power. MAIN: FDX40 LA-J261P Rev:1.0(A00)

Flash back the unlocked dump, normally the laptop would start just fine and counting (manufacturing mode) then try using BCU again
If it doens't work then you have probably damaged the eprom IC with heat, in that case try replacing the BIOS chip...

First boot reset to factory defaults

I mean you could try the bios from post #.115 it worked for many members
You could also try one from the Dell 7280 thread (or 7380). They all have the same BIOS...

The charging LED being perm lit suggested to me that the bios isn't being read (faulty ic maybe)
And so I've tried the one before once more with a new IC it worked fine. Thank you both for your help

I split the main bios the lower part is the one containing the PW it's 16MB so now I can use your script on it

I still haven't figured out a solution for this one.. When I try the MAIN patching method the laptop doesn't start and whenever I press power button the caplocks keeps blink..
Anybody have any thoughts to help with? (some patched bios started the laptop but lock still there)...
