But i stii get the 2204 Error after rebooting from Windows. I tried reinstalling Windows, that didn't help. I used Lenovo Utility flash drive, initialised the EEPROM, rewritten all S/Ns and other ids to EEPROM. But that didn't help as well. I disconnected cmos and main batteries and tried again - same error. Does anyone know what I can do about it? I have a suspicion that it throws this error because I am disabling Security Boot in the Bios settings. I need it to be disabled for Linux installation. I attached some photos of the errors I get. Is there a way to solve this issue? Thanks in advance for your help, it is highly appreciated!
rewrite the notebook's name,It will be OK.

¿Puede alguien marcar los puntos a tocar en la imagen? Sería más facil de entender, ya que soy principiante. Can anyone mark the dots to touch on in the image? It would be easier to understand, as I am a beginner.

IT WORKED ON THINKPAD T14 I7-10610U.
The pin order is as follows:

              1. Where number 14 is located, that is pin 14. The others in the same line are 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2 (2 is also marked on the motherboard).

              2. Where number 13 is located, that is pin 13. The others in the same line are 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, and 1 (1 is also marked on the motherboard).

              Procedure:

Use a clip to short pins 8 and 10.

Power on the laptop, hold the short for a moment, then release and press F1.

If the keyboard doesn’t work, use a USB keyboard.

Once inside the BIOS, remove all passwords (leave them blank).

Save the changes and reboot using Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

Hello, I have a T14 Gen1. I've been trying all day to clear the SV password using pins 4, 6, 8, and 10.
Currently, I only get the startup logo, and after a short while, the laptop shuts down.

Can anyone help me with the best way to do this and get my notebook back up and running?

Gotta start shorting early on MEC1663. Listen to the coils whining noise, as soon as you hear it, short pin 8 to GND for 1-2 sec. Before you see any image. I also used external screen with internal disconnected and external keyboard. And use ALT+CTRL+DEL to restart and try over and over. You'll get it eventually.
Also I used a tape to cover every other pin except for #8 to save myself a headache of accidentally shorting 2 pins next to each other.

                                        #680
                                        Hi ^^

I'm trying this bypass (after succeeding on an L580 and X390 Yoga, thanks for that ) on an E14 Gen2 (NM-D011, should be the same as the E15) by shorting ESPI_IO1 (pin 9 of the IT8227) to ground, but several issues occur along the way:
                                        • Upon boot I get
                                          Code:
0183: Bad CRC of Security Settings in EFI variable.
                                        • Upon reseting the Supervisor password in the BIOS I get
                                          Code:
Failed to save storage: LenovoSecurityConfig. Status: Time out.
                                        • An EATA error occurs if the reboot after the BIOS succeeds (sometimes fails as well, display stays black)
                                        • Shorting to EC pin 7 (ESPI_IO3) (while still using the same timing that works with ESPI_IO1) does not succeed at all altough described as working on another E14 Gen2 (AMD tho).
Result: The bypass only works for me to get into the BIOS, not to actually fix anything.
My question is: Do I have to reflash the BIOS or EC at this point?
I remember that I had that CRC error when bypassing the Nuvoton chip of my X390 Yoga, but I sadly do not remember the fix.
Also, what does the LenovoSecurityConfig mean anything?

I do not own a Vertyanov programmer, only a CH341a, so programming the EC might get a bit painful and/or expensive ^^'
