Hello,
Which MOSFET do I have here? Is it an N-channel or a P-channel?
I have two defective ICs, Q1 and U7. What are the names of these components?
Thank you....

by TamFisheHi, I got a ThinkPad x1 carbon 6th gen from a friend after in an attempt to fix it he ended up bricking the motherboard. today i tried plugging the laptop to the wall and i got no signs of life, despite the connections being proper. i've found out this winbond 25q80dvsig chip under a label near the usb c ports and i gave it a read, and the output has massive chunks of 0000 0000 0000 0000 followed by FFFF FFFF FFFF FFFF and sometimes some proper values scattered across the whole chip. I've attached the file because I've read people request it in order to fix it. Moderators, if I've posted this...

by kjchatmani received this laptop as a backlight issue but i noticed that it wasn't posting. It turns out that the cpu power rails are not working and +APU_CORE_SOC has no resistance to ground. Can someone tell me the resistance to ground for this power rail?
