nintendo switch 2 has shorted capactor at max77986
i found the boardview and noticed that n299 which is a capactor at the max77986 battery chip has ground on both sides. Is this normal? what should the voltage be? the device shows 15Volts 0 amps when plugged into a charger...

you're not saying that the vcc of the bios being 0.3 ohms resistance to ground is normal? I looked up the chip so i knew it was a 1.8v bios and i injected 1.8v but nothing seems to get warmLeave a comment:

LA-M025P VCC OF THE BIOS CHIP IS SHORTED TO GROUND
THE BOARD POWER CYCLES AND THE PROCESSOR GETS HOT. i THOUGHT IT WAS A FIRMWARE ISSUE BUT THEN I DIDN'T SEE ANY VOLTAGES ON THE BIOS CHIP. PIN 8 WHICH IS VCC IS ONLY 0.3 OHMS TO GROUND. I INJECTED VOLTAGE BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO BE GETTING WARM. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE VCC OF THE BIOS ORIGINATES ON THIS BOARD? -

gu603zm fans don't spin but all voltages appear present
this machine came to me and it would power up with the charger but couldn't turn off. It would turn right back on after holding the power button. no chipset voltages were present and I think that i saw a little liquid metal and so i cleaned the board in an ultrasonic cleaner but it still did not have chipset voltages afterwards. the chipset voltages came back after reprogramming the EC and bios but it still doesn't post and the fans never spin at all. Could the EC chip actually need replacing? -

gu603z powers on with no fans spinning and no vcore
this board stays on but no fans are spinning and no voltages around the chipset. the thermal camera picks up a hotspot around the smaller die of the cpu. is this a bad chipset or an intel ME issue? -
razer rz09-0423 doesn't power on with the charger but appears to send current to the battery
this machine was liquid damaged and fixed but it's back after six months and now it has an issue where it won't power up with the charger. If it is booted up with a battery then it will be ok but the screen goes completely gray and the coplock stops working when the charger is plugged in. -

replaced lenovo yoga 14ahp9 board with 16ahp9 and everything works except touchpad
the original board had liquid damage and i found an almost identical board but it's the 16 inch model and the speaker connector is in the different spot. I moved the speaker connector.
it boots and everything works except the touchpad. The signals and voltage are there and no errors indicated in software
vcc=3.3v
i2c_clk=1.8v
i2c_dat=1.8v
gnd=0v
nc=0v
vbus=1.8v
init=1.8v
close=1.8v, 0v when lid is closed
