jimbofz: in those Chinese tvs, if the only issue is no sound the problem is the sound amp, make sure the sound IC has power before replacing it, if no sound after replacing it then the issue is the microcomputer.

What's the problem with the TV?
What is your motherboard number and what is the panel (matrix) number?
You can read the data (dump) from your eeprom and post it here.

the problem is only red light standby, don´t turn on. Panel HD 18.5" RCA, model DETG185R motherboard CV3393BL-C
Do you have Dumps of this motherboard? not necesary that brand

I wonder if you can change the panel in this firmware, Mainboard CV3393BL-C original panel is HV236WHB-M00 but I need the V236BJ1 panel,
the reason is that I need to flip the image, or how can I flip image? Service mode don´t work

I can enter and modify but the changes disappear when I turn off the TV

there must be function to save changes. try with ok or (>) arrow button or vol/channel + button.

This is the hard way, hacking the binary, we need the application they use to program the MSD chips... but everything is keep secret by those companies, they do not care the huge mountains of waste they create with those 90 days warranty TV that most of them fail in the first year and good luck if you need warranty service, as they do not respond or hang the phone to you.

Looking for the data dump from a Bush LE-40GCL-A1 with the main board TP.SIS231.PT751 with any screen model (as they only did one screen for this model T400D3-HA24-DY1).
I know our Russian friends have it here: h***s://****************/dump/lcd_pdp_tv/prochee/bush_le_40gcl_a1_w_shassi_main_board_tp_sis231_pt751/248-1-0-106714 at remont
but obviously I cannot register with them to gain access to the site unfortunately.
