Turn on the TV and then hold reset for 10-12 seconds.
Skip all steps and go straight to
Settings > system > about
Press button combo: Up right down right up, fast forward 3 times, rewind 2 times.
That will bring you to a black flashing screen with a small menu, press the back button. Now scroll down to Project ID. There were at least 50 project IDs all using this same board. I scrolled to 55S405,...

Hi Lotas, I have this Roku 43" TV that the standby light is on but do not respond to power ON, I replace the CPU with a good one from a similar good board of a 32", problem was the same then I put the NAND from the 32" and the 43" turn ON, backlight turn ON, respond to remote control but no picture, then I read the original NAND and programmed on the new NAND, now the TV have stand by light and does not turn ON, I suspect those Roku TVs are reading the CPU serial number so they do not work with a new CPU, here are the 2 files:

This is the hard way, hacking the binary, we need the application they use to program the MSD chips... but everything is keep secret by those companies, they do not care the huge mountains of waste they create with those 90 days warranty TV that most of them fail in the first year and good luck if you need warranty service, as they do not respond or hang the phone to you.Leave a comment:

jimbofz: in those Chinese tvs, if the only issue is no sound the problem is the sound amp, make sure the sound IC has power before replacing it, if no sound after replacing it then the issue is the microcomputer.Leave a comment:

I put the Emmc dump for a SONY XBR-65X810C in the link below, the file uncompressed is 15GB, I do not think I can uploaded in this forum a file of that size. Any question post it in this thread.

You Fixed it!!! I downloaded the EEPROM bin like 50 times, with freeze and without, always get the same CHKSUM, so it was heavy corrupted. Attached is a picture of the TV working, all menus work fine and the sound too, Thanks...Last edited by luzmina; 02-09-2023, 11:50 AM.Leave a comment:
