Just to give some feedback, I have found the problem, isnt the bios, but the keyboard, it seems the power key on the keyboard is stuck if always pressed, removing the battery and plug the dc-jack it powers but a second later turns off, but if the keyboard ribbon is removed before it turns off, the laptop stays on and boot normally. The original bios i uploaded is working so if anyone having troubles with the bios can try mine -

I have this Acer laptop that is acting strangely, wont turn on, if i remove the battery and connect the dc-jack turns on but a few seconds later turns off. I suspect is the bios is corrupted

Hisense 43A7100F double sided tape thickness
Hi,
I need to replace the backlight led bars on this tv, and already removed the screen by cutting the double sided tape, my problem is i dont know what kind of double side tape should use i know is 4mm but in terms of thickness, Which one would be the most suitable? 0,86mm, 1mm, 1,26mm.

The panel is not the same even has a different size, but the image is normal, only the buttons have a different setup easily fixed by changing the wires, also the remote dont work i had to program a universal remote programed to a Vinchi tv...Leave a comment:

I need the dump/firmware for this tv, it was on a boot loop, i dont have the original corrupted dump because i used a pen drive with a firmware that solved the boot loop, initially it seemed it was ok but the tv has no sound

Need BIOS dump for Biostar TPower X58A
Hi,
After a bios update, the motherboard stop to work, only the Re-live screen appears with instructions how to recover the bios, i have follow the instructions, tried multiple pen-drives but it seems the motherboard can't read them, so i thought about write the chip with a memory dump
It has a MX25L8005 chip.

Just to give a feedback, I found what was the problem, it was the current sensing resistor on the primary side of the power supply, the resistor should have 0,22 ohm, and had around 0,40 ohmLeave a comment:

Qilive Q40FS21 after turn on revert to standy
I have this lcd tv after i turn it on, the Qilive logo appears on the screen then 2 seconds later revert to standby, first i thought it could be the led bars, if i disconnect the backlight the tv stays on, or if i leave the led bars connected but disconnect the screen the backlight stays on, then i power the backlight though a led tester i was able to see that the tv was working, then i go to menu and lower the backlight intensity to 10(from the min 0 to max 100) then connected the backlight again and the tv worked normally but when on the menu i raise the backlight intensity when reaching 64... -

I checked the voltages of the battery pins on the board without the battery connected, and no shorts to the ground on pins except the gnd pins
1,2 - positive 0.8v
3 - sda - 0v
4 - scl - 3,3v
5 - ocp - 0v
6 - bat-det - 3,3v

HP Elitebook 8460p battery led white and blinking orange

I have this Elitebook that wont turn on, only the battery led is white and blinking orange, does this even without battery.
If this is a error code i couldn't find any info about it.
Already tested with a another charger, measure the presence on 19v on the 19v rail, checked if there was capacitors in short-circuit

Thanks, now it turn on, the leds light up but no image it seems is not booting
EDIT: I let it stay on for some time and suddenly the ASUS logo appeared and the windows loaded

Asus FZ50V Bios

Thanks, one of those have a 25q64 different from the one i have a 25q32, and other the screen connections are different i dont know if it matters, and for program i have to de-solder/solder the eprom i'm afraid i might damage something with so much soldering, anyway i will keep your other one that is working not at 100% but 99% the only thing missing is the menu option to change the backlight intensity, what i can change on the service menu

Without knowing you already helped me, i was checking the Eeprom dump thread and discovered that you already posted a dump for this board (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...69#post1728013) only the tv had a different screen the V500 mine and is a V390, anyway i decided to try and worked, now it works and has a normal image, only i think a few menu options are missing, maybe there is a software update that i can use ? or be able to fix the 25q32 dump that i posted ?...Leave a comment:
