Re: Changeing the scale of an analog meter
Thanks
Yes the ATL431 is ideal it needs a very low current to work 0.035mA...

Re: Changeing the scale of an analog meter
Thanks for the schematic, works perfectly no variation on the meter even heating the TL431 with a heat gun at 100ÂșC, but even the total current consumption of this circuit isn't much, around 4.5mA at 4.2V will slowly drain the battery, using only the analog meter it consumes 0.22mA at 4.2V. I wonder if there is a TL431 equivalent that needs less than 1mA to work, or i just add a switch when not using it...

Re: Changeing the scale of an analog meter
Must be something that wont consume much current or would drain the battery
Thanks, i will look into it...

Changing the scale of an analog meter
Hi
I want to change the scale of an analog meter, to monitor the charge of an li-ion single cell, so the needle at the end would point 4.2 volts and the 0 on the meter would point 2.5 volts or so, i tried to add diodes or a zener in series with the meter but the changes of the ambient temperature also changes the voltage value on the meter
I wonder how i can accomplish this so the meter would be precise at any temperature ?

Loewe opta R125 distorted sound at high volume
Hi
I'm restoring this vintage radio, that had a very weak sound output, after replacing the electrolytic capacitors the sound volume improved but when the volume reach the middle of the knob starts to distort, its like the speaker overdrive and saturates, but only at lower frequencies even with the tone knob at minimum on bass frequencies. i have tried with other speakers but is the same.
Any idea what causes this ?
Below the schematic
Thanks...

Mitsai 22VLM12 with blinking led (advice needed)
Hello, I have this lcd tv when i power on the led never stop blinking and the tv does not turn on
I searched here and on other sites, the problem is the eeprom, if i freeze it works, so i'm thinking of remove the chip, then freeze it, and using a programmer read the data, and then copy to another chip
To do so i need a programmer, so i need advice about which programmer and software i should use, at ebay i saw a CH341A programmer, i dont know if is the right one for doing this, i also plan to use it on laptops bios chip, it would be great if it can read both lcd/tv...

Re: TV Blaupunkt 32/147I-GB stuck in standby
Thanks for the fast reply
I found a site that has a firmware that matches my mainboard
First i checked the voltages, all looks good, then i did a google search, and found some posts saying the problem was solved by reprogramming the eeprom, even at ebay some seller is selling a programed eeprom to solve this problem. But i suspect the reason of the firmware corruption isnt the eeprom but the some bad connection under the processor. This kind of boards is really...

TV Blaupunkt 32/147I-GB stuck in standby
Hi
I've an TV Blaupunkt 32/147I-GB stuck in standby (red led), that wont power on, via remote or buttons on tv, I suspect a faulty eeprom/firmware.
Since many years i dont reprogram eeproms, i dont know what programer and software i should use. Years ago i used Pony Prog with some home made board connected to the serial port.
So i need some advice about what programer and software i should use.
Thanks in advance

Sanyo 32" LED TV thin horizontal lines
Hi
I have a SANYO LCE32LM08(those cheap tvs with vestel boards) LED TV that's got thin equidistant horizontal black lines covering the full screen. The picture underneath the lines at some images looks ok but on anothers has some strange colors(looks like the old CRT when they have a weak cathode). I'm thinking faulty T-Con board. Any thoughts ?
I already heated the main board and t-con with an hair-drier but no effect
Here the boards a panel refs:
LCD Panel - LC320EXN
T-CON - 6870C-0370A
MAINBOARD - 17MB65
Thanks...Last edited by jorpec; 09-13-2017, 04:50 AM.
