just now no need to think on the IC. pin 18 are low 0. we will find why.. go to yours LD boards you said you have 12 volts on cn6602 . on same socket pin 4 connected direct to pin 9 on the other socket at the boards... check both are connected and if they have 12V ?Comment

that was the voltage i got at the G1B board, are you saying go from pin 4 of cn6601 which is vled_gd to pin 9 of 6602 which is ground? ok 4 to 9 has continuity but I have 0v when powered on.Last edited by nomoresonys; 02-19-2022, 11:05 AM.Comment

man. this is confused... SJ photo may different.. cn6602 pin 4 & cn6601 pin 9 they connected together and should have 12.V... you need to follow both to know who are the IN 12V. and from where.Comment

probably not what you meant, I tested cn6102 pin 4 to cn6402 thats between both powerboards, i got 27v.Comment

my attached photo at post #210 i wrote it in wrong way
12V come from PCB to the boards cn6602 pin 4 then go to MB via PIN 9 CN6601.

ok, i have 12 at 4 and 9, i measured between 9 and where it goes to ld board, there is 0v on the ld side, thats from cn6601, should i yank that harness and check it for continuity?Comment

I do currently have the bl-error pin from pin 2 grounded to pin 9 on cn6602, has been for a while.Comment

ok. now you need on the socket cn6602 pin 1 BL_ON to pull it out from the socket ( discconect it ) and power on... messure the cable if it go high... in case yes or no ... go to the shit IC pin 18 check if it get >3.VComment

at tv KD - 65XF9005 i have a problem.
Afrer a coupe of minutes (10-30) i got black screen, no image. But i have sound.
is this a common problem for this tv?
i attached pictures of inside. Supply board looks okey, no blowed caps.... -
This TV was showing a fine image and pulsing with a partial double image (offset vertically) every few seconds. I taped 8 clock pins on one ribbon cable from the Tcon to the panel. It stopped the double image, but some pulsing in intensity was still visible. I then taped another 8 clock pins on the same ribbon cable and the image is now ‘fixed’. Although I understand this results in some loss of resolution, presumably because the clock signal degrades as it passes horizontally across the screen.
I am wondering - do these symptoms and ‘fix’ mean that it’s a Tcon fault or... -
so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!!
what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol! 
i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing... -

I just replaced tcon on my sony kdl 65xg9505 and getting green amber leds blinking. all voltages are ok according to working sequence.
i downloaded firmware from sony and there is no .pkg fike.. after extracting it gives another file which contains multiple files like inf, payload.bin and 3, 4 other files. i just did that usb but did not worked. anyone knows anything how to do it..?
green amber blinking stops after while and then starts again. tv responds to remote control on off etc. before installing new tcon backlite was coming on without backlite... -
sony bravia kdl-43w756c, no power, no sound
the charger brick has 19,2-19,3 vcc
changed the inverter board same result.
where should i start?
