It shouldn’t be like this, you have the maximum current flowing to this strip (the driver may not be fixed or the mosfet on this channel is broken) and these LEDs will not last long.

Ok, I was able to put everything back together. TV doesn't shut off anymore! And I was surprised to see that light output was even. It wasn't blown out on one corner!
But I have new problems....
Picture had weird artefacts AND two green thick vertical lines. I was able to get rid of one line when I played around with one LVDS cable. (Pic 1 and Pic 2)
So silly me thought it was a good idea to keep the TV on while disconnecting and reconnecting the LVDS cables. I think something must have happened there because since then whatever I do I only get a washed out white image (Pic 3).
And in Pic 4 you see the cables. I circled a few spots. Do you think it's just the cables that I need to replace or do I need a new T-Con board? ://
I know I somehow messed it up againComment

good work for you as it first time to be encourage to take TV in parts and yon have less info on parts..
the end result of line or green line now more noticeable to you.... try to clean LVDS and ribbon cables with out damage them..... other wise you can live with it.Comment

Yeah, I didn't even mention that yesterday because of the bigger problem. Luckily it's not a crack. I'm not sure what it is. It happened after I put everything back. Something on one of the sheets maybe? Like a piece of tape? I'm not sure. But it's definitely not a crack.
About the cables: Can you guys help me find the correct ones? I don't know what to search for. You have some eBay/Amazon link? That would really help. Don't wanna buy something wrong.
And it's also possible I need a new t-con board cause it started smelling. I think I did a short circuit, but I'm not sure.
Maybe buy new cables first and see how it goes?Comment

by maudaI'm currently working on repairing a malfunctioning Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 with the mainboard 1-981-926-21. I would appreciate your assistance with this issue.
Upon powering on the TV, the Sony logo appears for approximately 3 seconds, after which the backlight remains lit, the screen remains black, and nothing else happens. The TV consumes around 55W initially and then drops to 35W. The indicator LED remains solid white. It doesn't respond to the remote control. When attempting to update the TV using a USB dongle, the dongle briefly flashes but nothing else happens.

by chaos-theoryI have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.
Next day after several attempts the board goes into protection mode, no more staying on, I turn on the PSU fans starts directly turning, it used to not start until I press the pwr button, now it starts directly and fans spins, and shuts off after 3 seconds sometimes less, then won't start again unless I unplug the PSU and... -
by solveit68Hello together,
I am hoping for some tips here to repair a notebook.
The notebook has following issue:
After starting the notebook it shut down after a few seconds.
Sometimes it is possible to enter the bios but then after, another few seconds it shuts down also.
The time until shutdown varies slightly.
What I've tried so far:
- cmos cleared
- removed all components that are not essential for motherboard testing including keyboard and touchpad
- ram exchanged
- same behaviour with power supply or battery... -
by doejohn11Hello guys. I have a legion 5 17ach6h with Ryzen 7 5600h and RTX3060.
It was working perfectly fine but the cpu was overheating so i decided to replace thermal paste. I bought one from local hardware store and replcaed. it looked fine then the fan started to spin at the full speed after about 1 minute and then immediately shut off after 10 seconds. Then I though if i have done something wrong, so i cleaned up everything with IPA and put new thermal paste. but the issue was still there. After that, I came across this article where he had similar issue and he was able to solve it by replacing... -
by IamPriteshSo I have this Sony VJF152C11N ( Board Number : DA0HKDMB6D0 ) which came to me with no charging issue. The Charging IC was getting hot so replaced it.
ISL88732 replaced with ISL88731 and also the lower mosfet PQ59 ( NTTFS4C10NTAG ) with a similar N channel mosfet. Now the Charging is fine with 15.7 on BAT+ line but the new problem is that laptop boots till sony logo and then shuts down when battery is connected ( With or without AC adapter )
What could be causing this is a non compatible IC or FET or poor soldering or some kind of shorting? - Loading...
