Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 - only Sony logo for 3 seconds
I'm currently working on repairing a malfunctioning Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 with the mainboard 1-981-926-21. I would appreciate your assistance with this issue.
Upon powering on the TV, the Sony logo appears for approximately 3 seconds, after which the backlight remains lit, the screen remains black, and nothing else happens. The TV consumes around 55W initially and then drops to 35W. The indicator LED remains solid white. It doesn't respond to the remote control. When attempting to update the TV using a USB dongle, the dongle briefly flashes but nothing else happens.

Re: Acer Aspire E5-575 Bios
How is it possible, that your post topic is "Re: Acer Aspire TRAVELMATE P259-MG"
and it is the 3rd page of the topic " Re: Acer Aspire E5-575 Bios"?

Re: Acer Aspire E5-575 Bios
I found out the correct programmer settings and now I can read the contents of the EC chip. I backed it up.
But when I try to write to the EC any other content, I get an error. I also tried the backup file.
Where can the problem be?...

Re: Acer Aspire E5-575 Bios
Wow, thank you very much. I understand it well.
I should write the full BIN to the 8pin EEPROM chip
and the extracted 128kB BIN to the 128pin EC chip.
Am I right?...

Hello, I bought RT809H programmer.
Can you tell me, please, how can I extract 128kB file for EC from the big 8MB BIN file?...

Re: Lenovo G50-30 (LA-B102P) no POST when power on
I checked the voltages on the PG pins PU601 and PU701 and they are really low. But the pull-up resistors PR601 and PR704 are missing on the motherboard, see pictures.
I checked the other same motherboard and it doesn't have these resistors either.
What does it mean?...

Lenovo G50-30 (LA-B102P) no POST when power on
Hello, I have a problem with a Lenovo G50-30, motherboard LA-B102P Rev: 1.0, ZIWBO/B1/E0, 2014-06-12
Motherboard powers on (power LED is OK), but no POST, no video (internal or external), no beep, no Caps lock LED indication, nothing.
It is not a "no backlight" scenario - there is nothing on the screen.
Pressing the power button for several seconds turns the motherboard off. So at least that logic is working.
I tried known good compatible DDR3L RAM
All power rails seem to be OK:
PL_coil = stand_by voltage, power_on voltage

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no POST on powerup
Omg, I am very sorry.
I have a different motherboard:
ZIWBO/B1/E0

Should I start another thread on this forum?...

Can you please explain to me why the PU402 pin2 is not connected anywhere in the diagram?...

I also tried to measure some KBC pins (ENE KB9012QF A4)....

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no POST on powerup
PG signals (coil>controller,PGpin = voltage):
PL402>PU401,pin2 = 2.8V
PL404>PU402,pin2 = 0.2V
PL502>PU501,pin10 = 1.37V when power_on
PL601>PU601,pin5 = 0.57V
PL603>PU602,pin2 = 3.3V
PL701>PU701,pin5 = 0.67V when power_on
PL902+PL903>PU901:
- pin8 = 5V
- pin15 = 3.3V when power_on
- pin22 = 5V
- pin27 = 3.3V when power_on

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no POST on powerup
Here are my measurements:
PL_coil = stand_by voltage, power_on voltage
===========================
PL301 = 20.4V, 20.4V
PL302 = 2.74V, 2.74V (without battery)
PL402 = 3.38V, 3.38V
PL404 = 5.1V, 5.1V
PL502 = 0V, 1.37V
PL601 = 1.8V, 1.8V
PL603 = 0V, 1V
PL701 = 0V, 1.06V
PL902 = 0V, 0.9V
PL903 = 0V, 0.78V
Voltages on:
EEPROM 1st pin = 1.8V
ETC battery = 3V
DRAMRST# = 1.34V
PLTRST# = 1.8V
Not measured:
PL101, PL102,...

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no POST on powerup
I will measure all power rails before/after power on again and write them here.
I hope that this motherboard is not death

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no POST on powerup
@piernov
Known good compatible DDR3L RAM = yes, I tried.
Caps lock key triggering caps lock = no LED indication
PLTRST# present = 1.8V
Any other idea?Last edited by mauda; 01-20-2021, 12:56 AM.

Re: Lenovo G50-30 no display
Hello, have you solved it. I have a very similar problem. When the motherboard starts, it takes only 0.25 Amps. So I think, the motherboard did not post.
