The t-con is 50 bucks elsewhere. I wanna find those cables first. Does it have to be the exact same ones for my Sony? It's just 4 cables, right?

Try to bargain with the seller, maybe he will sell you cheaper.

Thank you. Good idea. No harm in trying. Btw. I just had a closer look to the connectors. Nothing visible. I tried the magnifier but the cam gets even closer.

You need to inspect all 8 connectors, blow them out, go over them with a soft brush...

lotas ah ok, I will do that. Disconnect both ends. Hope the problem doesn't lie on the RAM sticks or whatever they are.

It's 4.3 cm wide (actually the head is 4 cm) and 7.8 cm long. It got 80 pins on each side. I hope I can find the right ones...

change all 4 with 100mm long 80 pin from uncle china
from yours photos i think 80P-1 or 80P-3 will be fine but still you need to compare and measure to have the exact wide

t-con it may damaged... by shorting and gamma circuit went defect,,, but this you will know later.... LED driver boards i don't think it need now from photo judgment and the measurement we did early,,, but one critical issue you have 2 horizontal line which it caused by t-con or LVDS... so need to inspect LVDS as you are now expert to know why and how old flat cable easily the contact pins damaged

What if you just cut the end of the cable so that the pins will now make contact. Maybe?

Ok, that's good. Today I will look for the same cables in Germany. If I can't find them here I'll order from China. It just takes ages...
Then I'll know if I need a new t-con board. Thank you for the continued support!

What exactly do you mean? Can you explain a bit? The pins already make contact.

Yea! That was kind of my idea. Maybe just cut off a mm or 2 to get all pins to contact since you broke the corner. Just the very first part of video anyway, wasn't sure if it'd work but nothing to lose if you buying a new one

I have ordered 4x ribbon cables AND a T-con board ! from China. It's been in transit for a few days now. My hope is this will also fix the thin horizontal green line... Fingers crossed.

In the meantime I would like to address the hard print that is now on the right bottom of the TV. You have an idea what caused it? I wanna disassemble everything one more time to take a look. Should I go ahead with it?

I need help with my Lenovo Legion laptop. It turns on for a few seconds and then immediately shuts down. I believe this is a BIOS corruption issue.

I'm currently working on repairing a malfunctioning Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 with the mainboard 1-981-926-21. I would appreciate your assistance with this issue.

Upon powering on the TV, the Sony logo appears for approximately 3 seconds, after which the backlight remains lit, the screen remains black, and nothing else happens. The TV consumes around 55W initially and then drops to 35W. The indicator LED remains solid white. It doesn't respond to the remote control. When attempting to update the TV using a USB dongle, the dongle briefly flashes but nothing else happens.

I have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.
Next day after several attempts the board goes into protection mode, no more staying on, I turn on the PSU fans starts directly turning, it used to not start until I press the pwr button, now it starts directly and fans spins, and shuts off after 3 seconds sometimes less, then won't start again unless I unplug the PSU and...

ASUS B5402CEA – Laptop powers on for a few seconds then shuts down

                                            Hi everyone,

I’m working on an ASUS B5402CEA notebook.

                                            REV:1B

The board powers on, fan spins for a few seconds, then it shuts down by itself.
I suspect the BIOS might be corrupted.

Could someone please check and clean (repair) the attached BIOS dump?
I’ve also attached a few photos of the motherboard for reference.

Thanks in advance for your help!

                                            Hello everybody,
First post here. I have been reading posts here for some time now, but today I made my first account and post.
The same question is also posted on another site, here it is:

Just found an old Panasonic National NV-M3 VHS Camera without the original charger but with a special bag with a led, switch and fuse that is designed for a lead-acid 12v 6Ah battery. It has two cables coming off the bag that leads to the camera terminals (Only + and - ). Pretty sturdy design I think.

I tried connecting it to a Computer PSU (12.7v) but I get battery error...
