Are you sure, the track connects to this daughter board and the two resisters are in line with the pins?

It does, but those aren't the Source resistors. I am 100% sure. Too high of a resistance and the tracks leading to the daughterboard are too thin. Plus, it looks like the Source legs on both MOSFETs go directly to the transformer pins.

All sorted, that was probably the hardest but most satisfying repair ive done to get something working again. Pretty much everything ive learned over the last year was of use.

Just a quick question regarding heat, on my solder sucker desoldering station I set it at 360c which I thought was a good temp. But I found myself twice pulling pads whilst working on this, the PCB was a little thinner than normal but still normal.

Is that too high a heat?

Got hold of another one of these which had 2 blown irf730 mosfets which ive replaced.

It turns on and then off right away but doesn't blow a fuse and just makes a clicking noise coming from the main PCB.

Sound like a relay switch but for the life of me I cant see one?

Could something else be making the clicking noise?

bridge rectifier, filter caps, small transformer, 2x 104k ceramic caps, yellow thing 22k275v-x2, varistor 14n471k and a thermistor SCK104, 3 resistors all in the early stage

or a coil energising and hiting the core.

what's with the resistor right of the main caps?
and try to lift that glue!

That glue is a son of *****, so bloody hard to get off.

Resister a bit mangled as I was trying to get it out but had glue all over it, the outer shell broke off when removing. Tested ok.

Looks like this one is beyond repair if the transformers are gone

edit: something like that possible? size is roughly the same and looks very similar

So is a AC line filter inducter, just going to remove the bigger yellow coil (assume that's a transformer!) and see if its still making clicking noise. Was just about to give up but that might be replaceable.

i doubt there is anything wrong with them.

Seems it's the bigger transformer as when remove clicking stopped and when put back in it started again.

Your board is about the same as in this thread but less glues:

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                              Assuming...

                              hello everyone,

I don't normally do tv repairs but this is a case with my personal TV which got fried together with many other electronics in my house after a thunderstorm.

The TV is a Philips 65PUS8518/12 which had no power. I measured and concluded that the main board was probably fried through ethernet or hdmi. I found a board with same number 715GD328-M0F-B00-005Y (I had G) but from a 55PUS8518. The TV starts but the image is doubled, distorted. I need to set the panel code which is 016 according to the sticker on the back but I can not seem to do it.

                              ...

Seeking Advice on Enhancing Heatsink for Main Processor on SAMSUNG TV Motherboard
                              by Ven
                              Hello everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade the heatsink on the main processor of my TV's motherboard for better cooling performance.

The current heatsink is a square-shaped one (2.8cm x 2.8cn) with a basic design, and I believe a more efficient heatsink could help with thermal management and potentially extend the life of the TV.

I'd appreciate any advice on the best type of heatsink to use, specific product recommendations, and tips for installation.

If you've done a similar upgrade, I'd love to hear about your experience and any challenges you...

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
                              by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

75pfl5604/f7 Main board replacement RGB issue
                              by EazyBone
Hey y'all, got a 75pfl5604/f7 that was DOA and I diagnosed this to be a main board issue. There was no indicator light, etc etc.

Ordered a new one (maybe used) from torres TV parts and installed it. Now the screen cycles the RGB colors only. Hit power and that's only thing that happens. Which is good/bad because it shows the panel/PSU/tcon are running well lol.

Anyone know what the deal is and how to get it out of this loop??...
