yes 850, switch leads and it's 1, like most diodes, read in diode mode, most standard diodes I read are usually 5xx or close to it.Last edited by nomoresonys; 01-31-2022, 11:46 AM.Comment

Yes the old one reads the same as the new one, 850 and 1 in reverse.Comment

Read all 20 of the 1n4732, all read around 850, read about 40 of the others all read about the same 840 to 860 or so, gave up at that point, there is 200 zeners in all, from 1n4728 to 1n4737.Comment

i would put the original back. and the way you did only cap 220 change it to 2 of 110uf or 3 of 78uf.. it may now the currents low amp. dive in your scrap and look if you find main capsComment

Thinking about using two of these three: 450v 160uf, 450v 47uf and 400v 180uf, looks like closest match is 450v 47uf and 400v 180uf.Comment

at tv KD - 65XF9005 i have a problem.
Afrer a coupe of minutes (10-30) i got black screen, no image. But i have sound.
is this a common problem for this tv?
i attached pictures of inside. Supply board looks okey, no blowed caps.... -
This TV was showing a fine image and pulsing with a partial double image (offset vertically) every few seconds. I taped 8 clock pins on one ribbon cable from the Tcon to the panel. It stopped the double image, but some pulsing in intensity was still visible. I then taped another 8 clock pins on the same ribbon cable and the image is now ‘fixed’. Although I understand this results in some loss of resolution, presumably because the clock signal degrades as it passes horizontally across the screen.
I am wondering - do these symptoms and ‘fix’ mean that it’s a Tcon fault or... -
so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!!
what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol! 
i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing... -

I just replaced tcon on my sony kdl 65xg9505 and getting green amber leds blinking. all voltages are ok according to working sequence.
i downloaded firmware from sony and there is no .pkg fike.. after extracting it gives another file which contains multiple files like inf, payload.bin and 3, 4 other files. i just did that usb but did not worked. anyone knows anything how to do it..?
green amber blinking stops after while and then starts again. tv responds to remote control on off etc. before installing new tcon backlite was coming on without backlite... -
sony bravia kdl-43w756c, no power, no sound
the charger brick has 19,2-19,3 vcc
changed the inverter board same result.
where should i start?
