Re: Samsung UN55D6050TF Power Light Blinking
Sorry for the confusion - I was simply trying to help tw2005 That was the reason I headed my post OFF TOPIC. that is nothing to do with this thread.
The link I gave is for leds where the light comes out sideways to how they are mounted so have only specific use.
Gamethriller - it will not be easy to get the panel apart but I expect it will have the leds mmartell is offering. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

I know the panel isn't easy to get apart. But I have convinced I can do it. And mmartell if you can fit full panel leds in a envelope your a bad man. LolComment

Re: Samsung UN55D6050TF Power Light Blinking
Mmartell is it straight to lay the face down flat and pull e b everything away from the screen?Comment

Re: Samsung UN55D6050TF Power Light Blinking
That's the way I did it. I had it laying down on something like a large footstool which had a smaller area than the screen so I could lower the metal frame to the floor (and out of the way) when its screws were removed since you need to get to the clips under it to get the disassembly under way.Comment

Re: Samsung UN55D6050TF Power Light Blinking
Did you jumper out the shorted leds or replace them? The pic shows one burnt but I did not see the repair? I had a strip with 9 shorted leds and I damaged the traces trying to remove the old leds. Could we get a little more detail on the repair of the strip? I tried heat to remove them but they are glued to metal strip. I tried small sharp cutters to break the led in half and loose from strip. Not PrettyComment

Re: Samsung UN55D6050TF Power Light Blinking
I didn't remove them. I shaved down the LEDs with a razor knife. The one's that didn't work. You can see In the picture I just took solder to complete the led by bypassing the actual broken led. I only had a couple bad lights. I mainly did this for testing untill I find replacement leds. I did find a few post on ebay with full led strips for r and l for around 100. I never removed the led. If I was to get replacements I would solder the new one's on top of the old and call it a day.Comment

Re: Samsung UN55D6050TF Power Light Blinking
First of all thank you to all you who posted on this thread b/c i have been looking for awhile about this tv especially in regards to the exact same problem with the exact same tv. Using a multmeter i noticed the entire left side will light up (flash actually since i cant get them to stay completely on). However the right side is a different story, the top 9 or 10 led's do not light up at all and then there is one lone led in the middle that doesnt light up but the rest down do.
Ltank - did you ever get your led's/tv to come back on?
gamethriller - could you explain to complete dummys (like myself) how do you bypass the bad led's with solder? Also, How do i get the led's to stay lit without having to keep touching them with the positive multimeter (just flash's)?Comment

by ipatchhello, i have been sitting on some microsoft surface pro 4 tablets for a while now. i was originally tasked with replacing the battery in one of the tablets, and ended breaking the screen and logic board in the process. decided to buy another tablet with the same specs. got that screen off successfully of the second tablet. the logic board appeared good, but i guess i shorted something out in the installation process of the logic which i've read is a common issue if there is no barrier between the logic board and battery pins. all that said, i ate costs of the repair and have...

by What?Good day, hope all are healthy and cozy. I could use some help with my malfunctioning Vizio with a blinking power light. I have narrowed the problem to the main board but not sure what to do next. I guess it would be good to start with what I have done.
Problem:
I have no image, no sound, blinking power light. (left it plugged in overnight and it was still blinking the following morning). I tried the Vizio recommendations (hold power button for 30 seconds, press reset button, check the outlet is live)
Power Board:

by sputnikoffI have a Samsung UN55NU6950 Power/Main Board BN96-46947A .I have ruled out the lamps as the culprit.I connected a new set and same results, just a flashing power light. When i put meter on q9101c in diode test mode the lamps do a quick flash with power from main cap as the unit is unplugged. Is there a kit for this issue or? I had similar issue with tv that had f28g diodes gone(leaky). This mosfet test good.Q9201c and q9101c.All diodes test ok....
