1AA4B10N260A0 Sanyo Plasma M.B.
I have had this M.B. for about two years and have not been able to find a replacement. I Tried a Repair kit that had two IC but it did fix it. The people said they bought the set new and it has never been in for repair. What puzzles me is one of the IC had a jumper on it. I haven't seen sets with wired in jumper but only a few times. Is this normal for this particular board? I looked at Google Images for this board but could not find the jumper? IC 7600. to other side of the board. If it's been butchered before I got it I can't send it to PTS Electronics for repair. This board simply not available....

Re: Small home TV doesn't seem worth the effort anymore
4k TV's have issues too, including bad panels. I didn't repair them for the money. I enjoyed electrics for work and hobby. I have been in industrial electronics since 1974. I am Certified in six different fields of electronics from the E.T.A. ,have a Master CET.
I enjoy the technical challenge on Power Supplies and Tcon. Limited repair on Main Boards due to equipment needed to replace Main CPU. That you couldn't get from Mfg. It has been a fun run. My health is not what it used to be.

Small home TV doesn't seem worth the effort anymore
I have been repairing TV sets for about 4 years now. TV's have gotten much cheaper now, Main Boards and Power Supplies are sometimes expensive. Manufacturers aren't making replacement parts at a decent price. I am considering closing my home shop. I have a good number of spare boards, I don't know what to do with.
I have some specialized test equipment. I am undecided at this time.
I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE ON THIS SITE THAT HELPED ME LEARN SOO MUCH! THANKS GUYS & GALS.

Re: Can't Find Source for LED Backlights
I tried repairing led on two different sets. For me it wasn't worth it for a customer 's TV. I might attempt it if is was my 70" Sharp TV.
The leds are difficult to remove. They are use a heatsink/adhesive. When you put then back on, be sure you use heat sink adhesive or heat sink compound at a minimum.

Re: Tv plasma LG50PJ350 click sound on and off. WHO KNOWS ?
Remove power, wait for voltage to discharge below 5vdc, disconnect the Y and Z board power from the P.S. Then turn on set. It should stop turning on/off. Then remove power wait for PS to get below 5vdc then connect power to Y and re apply power. then try the x board, the board that causes the P.S. to cycle is the bad board. It may or show a real low resistance across the power and gnd pins.

Re: PN59D6500FXZA Fast Track info incorrect
On this TV the test patterns will work when the LVDS ribbon cable is connected to M.B. even though no power to it because I jumped the P.S. on. If the cable is disconnected there is no test patterns.
Opposite of most instructions.

Re: How to run the self test on a plasma display control board / logic board
I have a Samsung PN59D6500F that will not self test with the cable between the Control Logic Board and M.B. disconnected.
If the cable stays in place, it will self test just fine.? Normal for this TV or do I have other issues with the Logic , M.B. or both?
Thanks

Re: PN59D6500FXZA Fast Track info incorrect
I put a Computer M.B. jumper across pins 3 and 4 still no test patterns. Control boars led 2000 blinks every second not indicating a problem with the Y or X boards. I am at a loss. Now.

Re: PN59D6500FXZA Fast Track info incorrect
I jumpered pins 2 to 4. CN801 pin 1 PS_On was jumpered to pin 3 gnd.
All P.S. voltages were good. Vs 217vdc, Va 55 vdc, Vsc-193 vdc and Ve 93 vdc.
No Self Test Pattern? I would have thought that if all the voltages were good and the Logic board jumpered with the Control cable removed from the M.B. it should have worked. The Samsung video tell you to disconnect the the cable the PDF does not.
Any Ideas where I went wrong?
Thanks

PN59D6500FXZA Fast Track info incorrect
To test the BN96-16531A Logic Main PCB, the PDF tells you to short the highest two pins. If you look and ohm check they are shorted together because they are Gnd and they both measure 0 ohms to gnd. With that said I should short the bottom two pins?
Pins 2 to 4? I have disconnected the cable to the M.B....

PN59D6500FXZA Clicking On/Off
M.B. BN94-04709A. Y board not shorted, Z not shorted. Vs 217vdc, VA 55vdc. P.S. cycles on/off. CN801 #1 low and CN801 #6 3.2 vdc. The swap low/3.2 vdc when cycling....

Re: Sharp LC-70LE650U Blinks 1 short and 3 Long
I soldered a jumper across it, with the P.S. to M.B. cable disconnected. the It did not display any test patterns. The VS was 201 the VA was 55 the 15 and 5 vdc were also good. Bad panel I guess. Shame.

Re: Sharp LC-70LE650U Blinks 1 short and 3 Long
I was wondering. The Service Manual show the pulses and descriptions but not the 1 short and 3 long in that order.
