Saved this TV from the trash but it will not power on the red power indicator light blinks 6 times with no display. I've attached pics of the power board(1st pic) and mainboard(2nd pic). I don't see any blown caps on pb like I expected so what do y'all think is the issue?

Re: Samsung TV UN60J620DAF blinking power light
Since the standby light is blinking, that tells me that the power supply has standby voltage. Next thing to do unplug the cable that goes from the main board and the power supply. Power up tv and the backlights should come on. If they do not, then I suspect 1 or more bad leds. If thats the issue, I would replace them all. -
Re: Samsung TV UN60J620DAF blinking power light
So unplug the cable from power supply to main board? So the only thing plugged in is the cable on top right of ps?
I did and plugged power in and no backlight comes on at all. Did i do something incorrectly?Trust me, i used to be an IT guy

Probably bad backlights, they fail quite often in this model.Comment

Re: Samsung TV UN60J620DAF blinking power light
Hey I just got a free UN60FH6200 with the same symptoms as the original poster. Have standby led so naturally I assumed the backlights were bad. Indeed many of the leds were out. So replaced with full set of new led strips and got the same results. Tested the power supply for voltage with the cable disconnected and there was no voltage at the led connection. Finally I saw that these PS go bad often also. So just an FYI on my previous commentsComment

Re: Samsung TV UN60J620DAF blinking power light
So I replaced the led strips and see why its best to replace all, 1 strip had all working. Unfortunately it looks like the people who put it to the road dropped the screen.oh well
My 50" LG tv backlight just went out so that'll be my next project. Is there a way to see if the screen is busted before replacing parts?Trust me, i used to be an IT guy

by PantherDaveHi all!
I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

So i plug in the charger, amber light starts blinking ,there is 3.3V and 5V present, and 2.4V on the power button, board doesn't turn on, no shorts...
I've tried flashing the bios...
interesting thing is the battery was around 7,8V, and it's 11.1V battery, the mosfet near the battery is open, but not charging,i desoldered it,tested it and it's fine ,but the amber light kept going on the charger so i charged the battery with power supply and got it to about 10.5V... -
by ipatchhello, i have been sitting on some microsoft surface pro 4 tablets for a while now. i was originally tasked with replacing the battery in one of the tablets, and ended breaking the screen and logic board in the process. decided to buy another tablet with the same specs. got that screen off successfully of the second tablet. the logic board appeared good, but i guess i shorted something out in the installation process of the logic which i've read is a common issue if there is no barrier between the logic board and battery pins. all that said, i ate costs of the repair and have...

by russpallHi there,
I've got a 39" LG 39LN540V that's just spontaneously stopped working! The symptoms are - when I plug it in, the red light will flash on twice, then go out, there's no visible picture, and I couldn't see anything using a torch on the panel either. If I press the power button (either remote or on TV), the red light comes on continuously. If I press power again, the red light flashes twice.
The TV is using a power board EAX64905301. I've attached a diagram of the power output, I've tested the voltages with a multimeter and I'm getting the following:

by What?Good day, hope all are healthy and cozy. I could use some help with my malfunctioning Vizio with a blinking power light. I have narrowed the problem to the main board but not sure what to do next. I guess it would be good to start with what I have done.
Problem:
I have no image, no sound, blinking power light. (left it plugged in overnight and it was still blinking the following morning). I tried the Vizio recommendations (hold power button for 30 seconds, press reset button, check the outlet is live)
Power Board:
I am getting 5v only. I have unplugged... - Loading...
