Saved this TV from the trash but it will not power on the red power indicator light blinks 6 times with no display. I've attached pics of the power board(1st pic) and mainboard(2nd pic). I don't see any blown caps on pb like I expected so what do y'all think is the issue?

Re: Samsung TV UN60J620DAF blinking power light
Since the standby light is blinking, that tells me that the power supply has standby voltage. Next thing to do unplug the cable that goes from the main board and the power supply. Power up tv and the backlights should come on. If they do not, then I suspect 1 or more bad leds. If thats the issue, I would replace them all.

Can check this thread, I posted 3 or 4 links to backlight testing: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...99#post1265199

Re: Samsung TV UN60J620DAF blinking power light
Hey I just got a free UN60FH6200 with the same symptoms as the original poster. Have standby led so naturally I assumed the backlights were bad. Indeed many of the leds were out. So replaced with full set of new led strips and got the same results. Tested the power supply for voltage with the cable disconnected and there was no voltage at the led connection. Finally I saw that these PS go bad often also. So just an FYI on my previous comments

Re: Samsung TV UN60J620DAF blinking power light
So I replaced the led strips and see why its best to replace all, 1 strip had all working. Unfortunately it looks like the people who put it to the road dropped the screen.oh well
My 50" LG tv backlight just went out so that'll be my next project. Is there a way to see if the screen is busted before replacing parts?Trust me, i used to be an IT guy
